Caught on the last hour or so of I, Robot last night. While I know it's nowhere near matching the literature it's based on, I still enjoy the movie and find it to be one of Will Smith's better performances. It's one of those flicks I can watch over and over again.

On the bright side, I was in Walgreens last night picking up some laundry soap. When I walked through their Halloween section, I found a non-foam headstone - the solid, somewhat heavy kind I prefer. So that's my first addition to the decorations for this year. I'll probably also picked up a light or two for my garden area.
I think today may be a grilling day. But...what to grill?

Thankfully, we only need one so far, at the top of the stairs. That's all we ever had for Charlie in Philly.
But I had to get this one installed today because the wife was niece sitting, and little Pie is only 2-1/2 or so. She can easily get up the stairs, but not down them.

Actually, between my two bird feeders, I've had so many small birds hanging in my backyard a local hawk has decided it's a fast food joint.
Yesterday, it ended up being pre-seasoned chicken breasts. Big ones - like from the Dolly Parton of chickensI think today may be a grilling day. But...what to grill?Bratwurst !!!!

And, some semi-good news on the "my dad" front - my mom is going to get hospice help with bathing him and such. Plus his medicines and some other necessary supplies. And they brought over a "just in case" wheel chair.
Medicaids going to cover it all, which really surprised me. But it's gonna really help mom, so that's all I really care about.
