Whiny three year old....not so much.
I'll admit, though, the little shit has a good memory.

While I know it's nowhere near matching the literature it's based on, I still enjoy the movie and find it to be one of Will Smith's better performances. It's one of those flicks I can watch over and over again. it was a damn interesting movie.
Also, bird house nearly complete. It may not look perfect, but it'll work.
I think today may be a grilling day. But...what to grill?

I must also visit the grocery store soonish. I usually go on Saturday, but didn't feel like it yesterday.
Poor George. But he's got the voice of Megatron to back him up. So there's that.
Sadly, I do not have a tree big enough for the boy to build a tree house in.
I'll have to see about getting him a big wooden playset.
Anyway, time to get a move on. I'm burning daylight.
Grocery shopping accomplished with no problems. Picked up some pre-seasoned chicken and grilled it up for dinner last night.
Also, I really need to find an orthopedic specialist.
On the bright side, I was in Walgreens last night picking up some laundry soap. When I walked through their Halloween section, I found a non-foam headstone - the solid, somewhat heavy kind I prefer. So that's my first addition to the decorations for this year. I'll probably also picked up a light or two for my garden area.
And the boy has been excitedly speaking of Halloween lately. He's even got ideas of what he wants to be, and it's been consistently a comic book hero.
I have done something right!

But I had to get this one installed today because the wife was niece sitting, and little Pie is only 2-1/2 or so. She can easily get up the stairs, but not down them.

Tonight it was hot Italian sausage, peppers, onions, and zucchini.
Yes, I have become a grilling fiend.

I watched one more episode of Agents of SHIELD then I should have last night. Didn't go to be until a little after 11 pm, and baby girl woke us up at 2 am. Was on and off awake for the next 2+ hours, then got up at 5 to get ready for work.
Gonna be a looong day.
Also, my shoulder is still hurting.
But, hey! There's coffee! And no meetings scheduled for today. So I've got that going for me.

Oh yeah, my baby girl did a bit of crawling yesterday.
One cup of coffee down. Not sure how many I'll have today. I've been trying to keep myself to no more than three cups a day.
The wife has a job interview with a company called Weatherford today. Yesterday she had a very positive phone interview with someone from Chevron. That set up another interview for next week - one she is very excited about.
The boy showed up in our room at 0430.
Ah well, time to get busy.
Busy day yesterday, but lots accomplished.
Plus, there was a dentist visit. Afterwards, there was much rejoicing.
And, some semi-good news on the "my dad" front - my mom is going to get hospice help with bathing him and such. Plus his medicines and some other necessary supplies. And they brought over a "just in case" wheel chair.
Medicaids going to cover it all, which really surprised me. But it's gonna really help mom, so that's all I really care about.
Interesting that the phone autocorrected it to "hospice hell".......
And my lead designer got into another argument with the weaselly little bastard who's trying to replace him. I keep telling him to try and keep his temper, that the dudes trying to push his buttons, but he won't listen.
Also, baby girl crawled about 4 feet yesterday.
I've heard people say about babies getting mobile "oh, now it gets interesting/crazy/hectic". That's load of horse shit! Life gets more of that as soon as baby starts growing. It's just the style of interesting/crazy/hectic that changes.
Wife woke me up this morning as she was getting out of bed to go to the bathroom. I thought to myself "if it's close to my alarm going off, I can turn it off now and get going a few minutes early".
Then my alarm went off.
