So instead of gaming, I watched the movie Abigail. It's the whole Usual Suspects meets From Dusk til Dawn, with the ballerina vampire.
It was amusing but flawed. It makes the same mistake most of the modern entertainment industry makes. It showcases the vampires as not completely evil and can sometimes be deserving of sympathy.

So I'm debating my day. I know I've got a few things to do. Some yard work. Laundry. Kitchen/cooking things. The rest of my time is unplanned.
The debate comes with the unplanned part, of course. I could spend the day reading. Lord knows I've got enough to catch up on. Or I could do some map work. Lord also knows I've been slacking on my Mega City map. Or I could play BG3. I've also been slacking on that, but I'm nearing the end of the game, at least.

Had a call from my dentist's office yesterday. They wanted to remind me about the cleaning appointment I had for this Wednesday at 4 pm. "Had" being the operative word.
I made that appointment at my last cleaning, which was most likely 6 months ago. At the time, I still had Work from Home Wednesday, which made it easy to do a dentist appointment since the office is like 5 minutes from my house.
Now that Work from Home is on Fridays, I moved my appointment. So now it's going to be a week or so away.

Tomorrow will be the second normal schedule since we switched to Work from Home Friday. The first week we did it was around the 4th of July. I was going to take off that entire Friday but ended up working a few hours. The following week was the hurricane, and since we had no power at home, I had to work in the office that Friday. So last week was the first "normal" Work from Home Friday.

Yesterday, I got a call from one of the companies to which I had applied for a position. I agreed to an interview next Tuesday afternoon. It's interesting position, dealing with various engineering standards. I like standards and having to navigate the labyrinth formed by the many that exist.
That said, I doubt I'd accept a position with them. The office is downtown. There's no way in hell I can conceive of them making the job attractive enough for me to want to subject myself to the kind of hell that traffic would offer every day.
