All joking aside, I need your help once more comrades. Whether this belongs in Advice or General Discussion I cannot say, but I dare to try here first! I've been building my own campaign from scratch for some time now, and I'm a big fan of using music for every little bit of the campaign,I even downloaded 6 hours of jungle ambiance and pure boat/ship noises. This time however, I need very VERY specific music, specifically stuff that just calls to mind the Old Ones. Probably something like, what you would hear in the presence of one, or in one's lair. Hell, even if someone begins talking ABOUT one. Stuff like that! Youtube links would be much appreciated, and thanks again my friends!

How do you feel about some death-theming? because this would fit nicely I'd say.
Ahh, Gravelord Nito. Also a fine suggestion! I typically avoided the Souls games because the music I sought called for more eerie..ness. Thank you for reminding me of this one! I think I may go for Pinwheel next. I usually save the rest of the Souls OST for the big dramatic boss fights.

The series has a great OST, although I'm a bit surprised by how few tracks fit the eerie-lovecraftian theme considering the general tone of the series.

I always liked Dream Theater's The Dark Eternal Night for summoning horrors from beyond space and time.

Nox Arcana's album Necronomicon
THIS sir, this is truly wondrous. This perfectly fits in the right music I needed! Thank you!

I like Swartalf, Rosa Crux, Hezentanz, Coph Nia, Saille, Sephiroth and Tiamat.
But if you think that's all a bit depressing, also check out the works of the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society.
I do apologize, it's my fault I should've stated in instrumentals only!. And these..aren't exactly what I had in mind haha thanks for trying however!

I know, right? They would work good for SERVANTS of Old Ones, I'd think!

I'm glad I could help. Check out some of their other stuff, as well. All of it's great for setting dark and spooky moods.
