Hellknight Signifer's with the Arcane Bond class ability can spend coin to make their special Signifer Mask into their Arcane Bond as a head slot item. however, since in PFS you can only use Arcane Bond for upgrades or existing items, and not for adding custom abilities, is there any point to doing this as a signifer? unless you were able to upgrade it from its mundane state to the equivalent of an existing magic item like helmet of underwater breathing, or jingasa of the fortunate soldier.

Any clarification?

You pretty much have the gist of it. You can upgrade it to an existing magic item. Since you can't custom item in pfs it's probably not worth it as ring and neck slots both have really awesome wizard items that are very pricey. But, it is an option still.

I looked at it, but found for PFS it wasn't worth it, as jingasa is about as expensive as it gets for me in the head slot item.

now if it were headband....

my thoughts exactly

i'm making a divine signifer anyway, but i considered using eldritch heritage to gain an arcane bond and get full advantage of the class features. in an AP it might be worth it, but not for PFS. thanks for the feedback
