Would it be ridiculous to give a natural armor bonus equal to one's con bonus?
Just straight up? Yes, id say. Now, combinig it with reducing con's affect on hit points might be an interesting idea though...
It might make sense as some sort of archetype feature or alternate racial trait, but just changing it across the board would break the balance of various other things for no good reason.
OK OK clearly not the greatest idea.
It's a fine idea. It's just one that would require considering what ramifications it would have.
What if you called it an armor bonus instead?
