I love the game a lot by the way, but there are a few things that bug me about it.
The way Shock Longbow +1 and Flaming Mace +1 is worded, they only confer an Elemental Trait when you discard the card to use its ability. However, Frost Longspear +1 confers the Elemental Trait (Cold) whenever you use its reveal ability.
This doesn't make sense from a flavor or a templating standpoint; why is the Frost Longspear always activated but the Flaming Mace only activated when you throw it?
Unless the first two actually do confer the Elemental trait on the reveal ability and it's just ambiguous wording.
I can live with this inconsistency; I was just wondering about why it was done this way.

In terms of game balance, they're all essentially 1d8+1 weapons. The Shock Longbow and Flaming Mace are cool because you can power them up to get another die and the elemental trait. On the other hand, the Icy Longspear lets you get the elemental trait *without* powering it up—but the downside is that you can't get the extra die at all. (Which is part of why it's slightly easier to acquire than the other two.)

I address this concept here.
Thanks for answering, Mike. That gives me a bit more insight into the way the design process works, and about your philosophies on design and how to manipulate things in the design space.
My friends and I are fans of your other puzzles, by the way, so please keep up the good work!
