Is there now a rule limiting the number of armor items a bard can wear?

I downloaded the updated version of Hero Lab this week, and now it tells me my bard can't wear a mithral chain shirt and use a darkwood buckler. Is this just a glitch in Hero Lab, or is there now a rule limiting the number of armor items a bard can wear? The error message I get says "Too many armor items worn."

I apologize if this has already been answered and I missed it on the boards.

Glitch I'd say. Buckler should give shield bonus, not armor.

I just updated hero lab, and threw together a bard to see if I had the same problem. I am able to equip both items without error.

It sounds like it thinks you have multiple items in your 'armor' slot.

I created a new bard as well to try to figure this out. When I make both the buckler and the chain shirt +1 magical is when I start getting the error message.

I'm not running into the issue either. Though oddly enough, if I do try to wear two suits of armor or two shields, I get specific error messages saying "too many suits of armor worn" or "too many shields worn". In fact, I can't figure out how to get it to say the error that you're getting. Perhaps we can help better if you could post some screenshots of your errors?
