The trait -
Beast Bond: You share a close bond with animals. You gain a +1 bonus on Handle Animal checks and Ride checks. One of these skills (your choice) is always a class skill for you.
I picked it out of the list from http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/ultimateCampaign/characterBackground/tra its.html#_traits
...but I have since learned that there are traits that I might want normally which are not PFS legal and I want to use the character that I gave this trait to in PFS play. Is there a complete list somewhere of traits that are allowed? If so, where would I find it?

The additional resources list contains all of the legality rules for PFS.
Specifically for traits out of Ultimate Campaign:
Pathfinder Roleplaying Game: Ultimate Campaign
Refer to page 10 in the Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play for rules on utilizing character retraining.
Note: Race traits are only available for characters of the associated race. Religion traits are only available for characters of the associated religion.
Traits: all traits listed on pages 51-64 are legal for play except corpse cannibal, hedge magician, natural-born leader, rich parents, and unblemished barrel.

Short answer: it's very, super, extremely, likely legal.
Long answer: All of the approved PFS content you can use is listed at http://paizo.com/pathfinderSociety/about/additionalResources . Since the trait you listed appears to be from Ultimate Campaign, just search the page (CTRL+F is magical here) until you find the sourcebook, then check the reading. In this case, it explicitly states that all traits on pages 51-64 are legal, with a few exceptions.
Now, you need to own the the Ultimate Campaign book to actually select the trait, and if your GM is being ornery you'll have to show him/her which page it's on. If you can do that, you're very, super, extremely, likely to be able to use this trait.
