Damien Befira |

In the upper floors of the orphanage, Damien couldn't help but be troubled. He felt uneasy, for whatever reason as of his recent dreams. To calm himself, he stood at the window of the structure, inside, away from most of the kids and teens that berated him.
He was looking out to the shore, the coast, or atleast, in the direction of the coast. It seemed to calm him.
He was in a room that one of the adults usually used for whatever reason, but, it simply contained a chair, a desk, and the window he was looking out of. It also had a door, which he'd shut behind him hoping no one would come in.
He had the sickle he'd become... accustomed to, in his hands. He was twirling it in his hands, and occasionally he would rake it down the walls, but not putting indention in it.
He was in the chair, melancholy, looking outside of the window.
I kind of want to Talk to Mr. Dark Cloak by my lonesome. Damien is good at talking to strangers that happen to be poorly informed of him.

Lelouch Lamperouge |

Some of the kids around Lelouch quietly comment to one another as the Cloaked Man enters the Dining Hall.
One girl says "Maybe he's here to adopt one of us?" Another says "He's kinda creepy", another slightly older girl responds with "maybe he's a perv...", but Lelouch just carries on chatting with a smile on his face, peering only at the man through the corner of his eye.
Secretly, Lelouch feels slightly uneasy with the cloaked figures presence.
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12

Judeau Rickert |

Judeau is still conversing with Lelouch when the man comes in and ignores him at first, "I concur with that, though of slightly more importance is battlefield control. Much like in chess, the center of the board is what is most valuable but-" Judeau makes eye contact with Mr. Darkcloak and slows down his speech while he looks him over, "in. actual battle. there are. many centers." Judeau tears his eyes away from the stranger slightly intimidated, he did not like the look of this man. Usually those looking to adopt were far far more inclined to be friendly and open. Judeau continues talking to Lelouch but lowers his voice to be barely audible at the table, "and your Queen may not be able to cover your Pawns and Knights effectively."

Phaedra Valerius |

When the man in the dark cloak and hat begins to wander near her own table, Phaedra finds herself slouching down in her seat. It's almost as if she is trying to hide between the two much bigger people sitting to either side of her.

Remus Hyronius |

Remus appears slightly alarmed at the presence of the man in the dark cloak. He puts his hand down to his belt, but realizes that his sword is still up stairs. He looks down to Phaedra and see's that she is rather scared. He uses the corner of his eyes to remain watching the main and tries to distract her with common chit chat.
"So why a fairy princess? Why not a smart wizard, they can be pretty too?"

Phaedra Valerius |

Distracted from the mysterious man for a moment, Phaedra thinks about the question.
"Well, fairies are pretty and small and have really pretty wings too. So I wanna be a fairy with a pet fairy dragon and if I am going to be a fairy then I may as well be a princess fairy, right? Though I suppose I could be a fairy princess who is also a powerful wizard. Can't fairies be wizards? Oh, and my fairy dragon is purple and I will have a really sparkly tiara."

Lelouch Lamperouge |

Still in conversation with Judeau, Lelouch speaks at the same audible level as his friend.
Which is why it's sometimes necessary to draw attention to your King, lulling your opponents into a false sense of security, making them think they have the upper hand, when it is in fact you who controls the field.
With that, Lelouch stands up, leaving the table and walks straight over to Randal.
Who is this man? asks Lelouch in a formal and well spoken voice.

Remus Hyronius |

Remus smiles at Phaedra's explanation, continuing to watch the mysterious man out of the corner of his eye. He see's Lelouch get up and talk to Randal, and Remus slightly shakes his head as he is not a fan of the pompous and arrogant attitude that Lelouch views the world with. There were better ways to fix the world, by protecting people and by showing kindness.
Oh my, I think I'm becoming Suzaku Kururugi!!!
"I think you would make the best fairy princess!" He says to Phaedra, returning to the conversation.

Lelouch Lamperouge |

Lol, I'm getting myself a costume later. :p
Also, it sounds that way and who knows, maybe you will become his Queen on the battlefield later? And I don't mean drag queen or feminine bit on the side...like CC. :p

Damien Befira |

[i]As he tightly grips the sickle in question, he considers doing his usual habit, which, as of late, has become all too frequent. He still has fresh scabs on his arms, artistically crafted to hide the fact they were self inflicted which made them all the more painfully exquisite.
He sat there with his arms laid out, laying down the sickle, and looks at them. He decides against it, while also sliding his sleeves back down his arms to hide the wounds.

Lelouch Lamperouge |

As the cloaked man speaks to him, Lelouch immediately looks to Randal to see if he has anything to say to him.
Sense Motive, this time on Randal: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
I forgot last time that we were still just rolling as commoners, so all I have is a +1 rank and +4 Wisdom mod, not the +3 from Class that accompanies it.

Remus Hyronius |

Remus seems a bit apprehensive of the situation, but he gets up and walks with his table companions to the back room. He ponders if he should quickly run upstairs to grab his sword, but decides against it as it would be difficult to hide.
"Come on guys, let's find out what this is all about"

Lelouch Lamperouge |

"This is a cause for concern"
Lelouch, unsure of what's going on, backs away slowly and heads over to Judeau as he once again sits at the table. Only this time he lacks his smile and has a more serious look on his face.
As he sits down once again, everyone around him look concerned, not being used to seeing this side of him and the area goes quiet.
Lelouch speaks softly to Judeau.
I have a bad feeling about that cloaked man over there. He told me to wait in the back room as he has some important information he wishes to discuss with me. I don't intend to go into that room, and if possible, would like to slip out of here while I can.
Lelouch stares Judeau straight in the face with a piercing gaze.
Are you with me?

Seth Thanesmythe |

How did I miss this starting? >oO<
edit: Laughs at Damien. It's Pedobear, he made his Disguise check.
Seth slipped into the shed, leaving the door ajar. He sits down on the floor beside a small pile of old clothes.
"Hey there little mother." The boy smiled as the small cat meow at him. "I brought you a little something." Seth pulled the soaked bread out and set it by the pregnant cat. "Look at you. It'll be any day now."
He smiled as he petted the cat as it ate. "I can't stay long. I should get back inside before I'm missed." He slowly stood as the cat finally curled back up to sleep. Quietly he slipped out of the shed and started to close the door.

Damien Befira |

oh, there's an idea.
Coming out of the room and following Randal, who seems awful busy, Damien decides that he doesn't like the idea of a public gathering. He sits on the staircase across the way and silently observes what's going on. He's pretty far away, so he tries to listen in.
Perception 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (20) - 1 = 19
First 20 of the campaign. Hot DAYUM. Now if only my perception didn't suck.

Lelouch Lamperouge |

Ha! We both rolled a 19!
Lelouch turns to Randal.
But you ignored me and turned away from me! I don't understand what's going on...
Using my perception score to see my surroundings Lelouch waits for everyone to head in, following behind as asked by Randal, but just as the person in front of him enters, he slips out of the queue and off to one side, leaning against the wall, remaining in earshot to hear what's going on.

Damien Befira |

Damien, heaving a heavy sigh, goes down the stairs. He is surprised to see the man in the dark cloak, but he's not exactly worried. After all, when you wake up after the kind of dreams he's had, the weird starts to seem normal.
He does, however, register that randal is... oddly persistent, and puts some thought into why.

Seth Thanesmythe |

You should learn to quote The Princess Bride instead.
As you wish.
Seth begins to make his way towards the front doors. He counts on everyone else still being at dinner and not noticing he had slipped away. If needed, he could always fall back on the 'I needed to pee' excuse he thought to himself as he opened the front door.

Lelouch Lamperouge |

Lol, well it seems poor Lelouch can't escape him.
Uh?!....yea. That's right. I don't know who you are or why you're here, but don't harm us!
As the 12 year old Lelouch stares at the cloaked man with an angry and intense look, he stands defensively and begins to walk into the room, heading for the very back.
If we're not in danger, maybe they're closing the Orphanage down?

Sammark Bellefont |

Sam stands up after Tama, grabbing her chair after it falls and righting it before brushing past her and into the room. He did not like this and by the sound of it, no one else did either. He paused at the door, hesitating at what he knew to be the first major change in his life.

Seth knows the right quote to make a girl go weak-kneed. ;)
Why thank you. *bows* I always did have trouble resisting pretty ladies.
Seth looks up at Mr. Gregori as he runs up. "Uh-oh. They found her." He thought grimly. "Mr. Gregori, I can explain..." The young boy began as he slowly started to head towards the back.
