very difficult.
Depends on what /where you managed to go to get it and what you may have used (some of it you may not have aquired~). This is something you're GM needs to do to be honest.
Ask you're GM to look in the AP volunms himself and write down what you have its all in the books so the GM is quite capable of doing this if not he's lazy and needs time in the sweatbox!.
Then the GM can hit the qm over the head with the rulebook and tell him to keep a check or else the party will Keelhaul him. :))
Failing that give the inventory to another party memeber to track.
Ultimatly this question lies with you're GM to sort out

I disagree. It's up to the party to keep track of their loot. Just like it's up to them to keep track of their PC's statuses, abilities and powers.
If this happened to my group, I'd be willing to let them look through the old AP books we've passed to figure out what loot they've earned but I'd not be willing to reconstruct this all myself.
Active players make the game run great. Passive players slow it way down and make more work for everyone.

Problem solved then, get you're GM to give you book 1 and 2 and write it all out from there. If you end up with treasure you should not have as you have either used it or never went to that place/area, then I guess that's where the GM needs to adjudicate or decide to let you have it. It's not really as straight forward as giving them access to the books.
Did you defeat every foe? If not you wont have that treasure, did you forget to go into certain areas of the cavern or miss out bits of the island? Did you go to Tiderock and if you did, did you ransack it? Obvosliy You can't just pick up every item in the books.
Yes the problem is the player but the ultimate responsibilty lies with the GM to allow you access to the books. Now if the GM has done extra work and you are not following the AP as written then you may be in trouble (my group have gone so far off tangent that giving them the books just would not work so I would have to do the leg work and give them a hard time too lol),
First and foremost...SACK THE QUARTERMASTER! and give the job to someone else in the party you can trust to keep a log of it!
But I would guess as an easier solution use the wealth by level guidelines as the AP's have treasure that matches this, then maybe use the gold to by items in port?

I'm with Shaun on this one. As a kind and forgiving GM ( ;D ) I might refigure the loot for my players - ONCE - if the tracking player lost their records (it happens) or if there was a long hiatus between games, but other than that it's up to the players to document this stuff. Unless the item in question is absolutely vital to the plot, if you have a specific item but forget about it or can't be bothered to write it down among your possessions, it's gone.... your character absentmindedly set it down somewhere and walked away, someone picked your pocket and you never noticed, whatever. I've had this done to me by a GM in the past, and I can tell you it does a remarkable job of sharpening a party's inventory-tracking skills thereafter.
Of course, the flip side is that the GM is responsible for making sure the party clearly understands what they have and have not acquired, particularly when they may go through one part of an adventure but not others. (This is why I don't want players reading through modules they have already completed - there often are items or information there they may have missed that might influence later play.)
