Well, custom avatars are not supported - and apparently neither are those available under the account management page.

Upon finding an image the 'use this avatar' button is below the image popup on the left - but as soon as your mouse pointer moves away from the image the popup goes away so no avatar icon can be selected.

Pretty poor design, that.

Try clicking on the avatar itself first. Then you should be able to click the "use this avatar" button. Took me a while to figure that out, then I felt stupid. >.>

If El Ronza's suggestion doesn't work, can you tell us what browser you're using? We have been making some changes to how those components work and it's possible we missed something.
