So it shows as shipped on 8/12/13, but there is no tracking info from the "Track this Shipment" link and it has not yet been received (today was the 8th business day). What is the time frame before it is considered lost in transit? I have no worries waiting through the end of the week (which would have it at 2 business weeks) or a little longer, but would like to know when it is considered a shipping issue.

As per your order confirmation email: "A package containing 2 items from Paizo Order #2707275 is expected to ship from the Paizo warehouse by Friday, August 23 via Standard Postal Delivery, estimated 4 to 8 business days in transit."
When we batch print labels for subscriptions it generates a tracking number at that time. However, at this point, not all printed labels from the August shipment have been shipped from our warehouse (we have a couple rolls left). Tracking won't become available for your package until it leaves the warehouse. I will update the August Subscription thread when the warehouse finishes with rolls of labels.
Your order at the moment could be anywhere from in the remaining label rolls, to in a pile of packages waiting to be picked up, to on a truck heading to the Mail Innovations sorting facility. Which is why tracking hasn't kicked in yet.

Except payment is not supposed to be made until the product actually ships, correct? And the payment for this shipment was taken on 8/14/13.
Or am I mistaken on that front and payment is made once the shipping label is printed prior to actual shipment?
Also, under My Account>Order History, is the Order Shipped column then just displaying the date the shipping label was printed and not the actual ship date?

During subscription shipping times, we are able to batch print labels for some of our subscribers' orders. Customers are charged when the order gets finalized for shipping and the label is printed. PDFs are also granted at this time. Utilizing this method allows us to ship these orders much more quickly than if we printed them out for the shipping queue via packing slips. The My Account > Order History and My Subscriptions page are displaying incorrectly when it shows August 12th date for shipping date. It should say "should ship by August 23rd" like the email confirmation we sent. Christopher is looking into why this is no longer displaying correctly.
I just chatted with the warehouse manager and we are about 95% confident that all pre-printed labels will make it out by their expected "shipping by" date of August 23rd.

Woot! Thanks Sara Marie! Good to know about the batch print/charge scenario for times like these.
And thanks for the hard work to all of y'all in getting all these orders out. Having worked in order fulfillment as well as customer service before, I know that backlogs really suck for everyone involved. Please give the warehouse folks and all of your customer service minions a major thanks from me for the hard work y'all have been doing (as well as the draftees who have been lending a hand as well).
