Good Deity with Air and Magic Domains in Golarion

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

Hi all, I have a player in my new campaign set in Golarion who wants to play a Cleric with the Air and Magic domains. Problem is that I can't find a single deity (at least non-evil) with both those domains.
I know by rules a Cleric can worship principles and such, without really worshipping a single god, but I'd MUCH prefer that he did; first, to have some behavior to stick to, rather than have him left to himself without really abiding to any principle tied to air or magic. Second, to have him fit in the setting, since he's new to it, and by playing a Cleric like that his character will find it hard to fit in and be consistent with the world.
I've checked all the gods in the Inner Sea World Guide, and crosschecked the additional ones for both domains here: http://www.pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Category:Air_domain_deities

...but couldn't find any...

Can anyone help?

Usually, in such a case, I'd look into one of the 'demigods' of the setting (demon lords, archdevils, empyreals, elemental lord, fey eldest), but I'm not seeing an option that fits here.

That said, *if* you want to facilitate that idea, you could just create a new Empyreal Lord (or Fey Eldest, or non-evil Elemental Prince of Djinn) or whatever and give it the domains and natural weapon that best fit that idea. An Empyreal with Air and Magic might work well as an Azata, with an elemental 'winds of magic' theme, or an Agathion, with a 'wise old owl, keeper of secrets' theme, but I'm sure there's options for a storm/magic themed Angel or Archon as well.

A Fey Eldest might seem more 'Queen of Air and Darkness-y' and, IMO, perhaps not work as well as a good aligned choice (since there aren't any good Eldest at the moment).

A 'Elemental Prince(ss) of Djinn' might conflict with the notion that all non-evil Elemental Lords have been killed and eated by the evil Elemental Lords, but, in a Golarion that *does* have CG Genies, and isn't exactly crawling with evil elemental air creatures, whipping up a CG Elemental Prince(ss) of Air seems *less* off-theme than the current canonical situation anyway...

Or the 'Genie Prince(ss)' could be an Azata, filling in for the dead elemental prince(ss) of good or chaos or non-evil-neutrality, keeping Golarion canon (no non-evil elemental lords) intact, while also providing for the predominantly CG Djinn to have a power of their own.

An Azata (perhaps with a Couatl association?) would have the domains pretty much filled out; Air, Chaos, Good, Magic. A NG or LG Archon or Agathion or Angel or Elemental Lord/Djinn in this role would either replace Chaos with Law, or drop Chaos and have room for something else, like Trickery or Creation or Weather or Animal or Sun or whatever, depending on the theme.

Shortbow seems like a suitable favored weapon, to go with these Domains. (Longbow might be 'too good' of a choice, better suited to gods more directly associated with archery, hunting or war.)

I would just bend the rules a bit to allow it. You could make up a unique background to explain why he is an exception to the rule.

So he could be a priest of Shelyn who belongs to a rare sect of the goddess devoted to the creation of things of beauty using the arts of magic.

Alternately you could invent a demigoddess in the service of Shelyn with the same interest.

In an organized play setting, I think you would have to use the "Separatist" archetype. Separatist lets you take a domain that your deity doesn't offer.

In a home game, as Jeven suggested, you could find a deity from either domain and see if you can justify the other one. For example, maybe one of the servants of Gozreh offers magic while Gozreh offers Air. Or Findeladlara covers "creation" or Shelyn covers "art"--could either of those be interpreted to include some school of magic? Or since Sivanah is the goddess of illusion magic, it seems likely you could justify some sort of "air" component there.
