Actually, there's more to the story than that!
It's NOT just a scribble--that's an autograph by F. Paul Wilson, bestselling author and friend of Paizo, who wrote the introduction. See, here's his signature on one of his own books:

Paul signed copies for all 4 of us on the Planet Stories staff, back in the day, but when the office started getting crowded, we consolidated our book collections, and some things got lost in the shuffle or ended up reclaimed by the warehouse. Which leads me to 99% certainty that we actually sent you my personal copy. :)
So yeah--it's a one-of-a-kind accidental collector's edition! Hope you like it! :D
For the record, I'm *totally* not miffed about the mix-up--I can get books signed by Paul anytime, and this makes for a way better story. :)

Wow! That's kind of amazing. No offense, Vic, but I looked at it and thought "That doesn't look like Google... But what do I know!"
Thanks for the info and the book, Paizo (and especially you, James)! Gives me one more thing to talk about when I'm raving about your company!
Now to finish the book so I can lock it in a case somewhere - these paperbacks aren't very durable!
