The meet and greet was recorded...it is currently in the process of having surplus grunts, groans, umms and ah's removed then it will be linked along with I believe a set of notes for those that do not wish to listen

Not a commercial at all, but it appeared that some were mistaking the concept of venture companies and the false belief that Pax and the UnNamed Company would merge.

Taking a quick glance at your topic over 50% of the posts are by Bluddwolf.

I could post in your topic to help it stay toward the top... but first, let's talk price.

The thing is, our recruitment thread is primarily posted in by me, because most of our members remain ..... You guessed it... Un Named!

But, back to the topic at hand here....

I'm hoping that my more vocal council members (some are in fact known) will attend the next M&G and even make have a sit down for a future Gobbocast interview.

Milo would gladly discuss his vision for assassinations.

Greedalox will gladly speak to banditry and why goblins should be a playable race in PFO.

Just in case there was any concern ;)

Ooh... So many impressive names, they sound dangerous. It will be a fun game that we play, that much is certain.

In the end, I have one other certainty in mind.... You will eventually have a greater enemy than we bandits, and you will pay us to visit upon your enemy our services.

You can evoke the names of the Gods all you like, in the end there is only one God of men. He corrupts the pious, destroys the wicked and can never satisfy the greedy. But, we all worship him, openly or secretly, with the same fervor.

Isn't PAX Aternum the real bad guy here since they would be in violation of one of the River Kingdoms Six Freedoms? :P

River Kingdoms Freedom - You have what you hold.

I never thought of it in that light, Dak; my eyes are open to my previously un-assumed role of the villain! ;)

Just as I edit my own Gobbocasts, I also like to edit anything I do a lot of speaking in. The problem is my meticulous nature, attention to detail and perfectionism run amok, and every little ooh, aah, etc. must meet a vile end or I find myself unable to post said edit.

My apologies to all those waiting; should have it up today!

In his post, Bluddwolf wrote repeatedly about the Unnamed Company and theft and stealing. Robbery is acceptable, if you have the strength. Thievery smacks more of burglary or stealing. True, it is a "semantics game", but the fact remains...

Nothing in the "River Freedoms" states that you should stand still and be robbed. "You Have What You Hold", in fact, sounds more like you should struggle against robbery. There is honor in winning that contest...

Also, I would like to hear the details of "The Secret Agreement" that the Unnamed Company made with Aeternum. Bluddwolf's "reverse psychology" approach isn't fooling anyone. =P

Funny... I seem to follow "circular psychology"... I believe all things lead to "the coin", and if you follow the coin round-and-round long enough, you will discover the hand the is deceptively skimming it off. Follow that path long enough, and it always leads to just one man.

In the fiction of EVE Online, that one man was known as The Broker. Although it is still unclear to me if he is truly "The Man".

Who will be "The Man" in PFO?

Now that could lead to an interesting round table discussion.

Goblin Squad Member

It will be interesting to see if a single individual winds up "pulling all the strings". I think it unlikely, but it really depends on anyone's definition of that. A "Grand Kingpin" would be a busy and nearly impossible attainment.

Edit: My apologies to Aeternum. I am guilty, again, of a "Thead Hijacking".

Blaeringr, but he'll be the only one who actually knows it.

Goblin Squad Member

I'm wondering if "The Man" could secretly be of the Developers?

I know all about the pitfalls of Devs; EVE Online; and BOB.

But it would be cool to know that that old guy on the corner, selling bread, could actually be the all powerful Ryan Dancey and not Uncle Tony.

Unless of course, Uncle Tony is Ryan Dancey? Hmmm....

Goblin Squad Member

Who ever Blaeringr is, He is becoming "The Most Interesting Man In The World". I suggest that we all buy and eat Uncle Tony's bread so that we can "Stay thirsty my friends".

You know, we (Gobbocast) were working on a commercial for TTLBMB, and we never got a chance to air said commercial.

I think it might be high-time we just aired the thing on it's lonesome, and let it stand for itself...

You've found me out. At least you haven't followed the trial back to the my ancient alien brothers in the Illumnati and discovered how Pathfinder Online is simply a tool to control the masses.

Excuse me now. Changing from the Ryan Dancey suit into the Obama suit takes a lot of time.

The version I heard a while ago was really good.
