I've flexed a bit; I'll be playing with one faction trait unless I sit down at a table and a GM tells me to pick a second one. Either that or until traits get rolled into the next printing of the CRB :P.
As far as I can tell from the responses, thank you all by the way, the jury is out on if they are a * must *.
