So, if anybody who's unattached Friday, or Saturday night, wants to help me, I'd be obliged.

When do you get into town?

We're booked into the hotel starting on Thursday night; it might be possible to arrange a game on Thursday evening, if there are enough other people around.

Anybody else interested in a Thursday night Tier 5-9 or 7-11?

I would have loved to have done it, but unfortunately, I have graduation ceremonies on Thursday, so I will spending the whole day dealing with all of that, and somewhere in there, I gotta pack for the convention that weekend. (Good thing there is no morning slot this convention)

If anyone is down for a late night game on Friday or Saturday after Bonekeep, I am happy to either GM or play to make legal. PM me to let me know!

After Bonekeep has been running for an hour or so there will probably be a few players unexpectedly available for a different scenario ...

If I end up arriving to the convention too late to play Bonekeep (a real possibility as I'm missing Sat daytime at the con for my wife's baby shower - it ends at 4pm or so but between packing and unpacking the shower gifts etc i might not make it back to the con in time to play Bonekeep) I would be willing to run a high tier scenario for folks - I have a couple already prepped and ready to go (King of the Storval Stairs, Wrath of the Accursed) and likely will have Cultist's Kiss also prepped.

The Exchange 5/5 RPG Superstar 2010 Top 16

Guys, I have not read King of the Storval Stairs, I've GMed but not played Cultist's Kiss, and I've already played Wrath of the Accursed.

I'm also keen to play either Forgotten Furnace of Koor or Red Harvest.

The PC in question is an oread monk / living monolith.

I've recently played Forgotten Furnace, so I could possibly GM that. The caveat is because I'm not really familiar with high-level characters - I've only just got one to 9th level myself.

On Saturday night, though, I'm manning the main PFS desk.

Silver Crusade 4/5

If it's a Friday, then I am totally good to just getting some late night gaming. Saturday I am running Black Waters, but I do not anticipate it to last very long, which will leave me with time to start a bonus game if needed.

I have run and played King of The Storval Stairs and The Cultist Kiss. But I have not done Wrath of the Accursed or the Forgotten Furnace.

I have played Red Harvest, but I wouldn't mind running it as it is a RP adventure and I LOVE those.

Keep me posted!

Not to detract from the awesome conversation above, but Here is today's Kublacon update!

Good morning! We are in the final countdown to the best weekend of the year! We have a couple of important updates that I wanted to share:

**We will be closing Warhorn Tuesday, May 21st at 6:00pm.**
Please double check your selections as we have continued to prune for the smoothest experience at the convention.

Over 90% of our audacious goal of 200 tables are ready with skilled, talented, and generous GMs ready to give their time to make this thing ROCK! We still have room on Sunday and Monday for a few more GMs, so if you would like to be part of this AMAZING team, contact me.

To those that have already signed up to GM: Thank you! All scenarios and modules should be in your downloads at this point. If you don't have something, please let me know ASAP so we can get that corrected for you.

We also have a couple of spaces left at the headquarters desk on Friday evening, Saturday Afternoon, and Monday morning if you are looking for a way to contribute in another fashion.

I can't wait to see you all next Friday!

and now back to parakubla planning already in progress....

Well, I drove 10+ hours west to Denver yesterday. I'm gettin' there!

Grand Lodge 5/5

Wow, at that rate Pirate Rob, you'll beat Wendy-Ann and me both! Drive safely.

Soon, Wendy-Ann, very very soon!

Taking a few days off to enjoy Denver, driving to Wendover on Sunday and then Berkeley on Monday.

tic-toc tic-toc we're almost there!!!!

I am counting the days from my desk at The Heidmarch Manor. Dispatching Pathfinders to missions is quite the challenge.

I'm really beginning to doubt the wisdom of having a talking green pea-pod with an orange-rind hat as our official timekeeper.

I mean, can't we have the tiny brown man who brings us coffee instead? At least I'll have coffee while I wait then.

She changes shape Master Painlord. But I can definately have Room Service deliever you some coffee while you wait.

I hope you're happy, Pain. But you still have to have someone else get you coffee. I'm busy, keeping time and prepping a lovely mug to gather all the BoneKeep Tears.

I'll have my Goblins make it (running We Be Goblins as everyone dies in Bonekeep) I'm sure they can start a fire to heat the salty tears!!!!

Sheesh. I like the avatar that wasn't making claims upon my unborn tears.

Can we go back to that one?

switches back to something more fitting.

This one? The sweet pea pod with the orange peel hat? I knew it would grow on you.

She's become a monster!

She's critting seven-year olds, making their nine-year old brother cry, and then brutally murdering characters. If I hadn't killed Jerry's character with an errant bomb, I'm sure Andi would have! She certainly didn't hesitate to kill Scott's character.

Amazingly enough I still have yet to play or GM We be Goblins. Some day... Maybe I'll try and arrange a double header with the sequel this summer.

Grand Lodge 5/5 *

We're doing both on Free RPG Day here in Fresno! Since you're joining us on the following Sunday already, you could just make it a long weekend in Fresno. :P

Grand Lodge 5/5

My first session at KublaCon = 150 sessions.

Will you be on my table?
I hope so!

There's still one seat left...

Yes, but if you look at the schedule closely, Dan, I believe your second table comes just before Az's first for the weekend.

Now, of course if Az wants to move up his first table, I do need an awesome judge for a Friday Night walk in slot. ;)

150 Sessions... Been there, done that. On to the next star. ;)

FYI--I'm no where close to 150.. But I plan on cashing in my coordinator's chips this summer and spend some well earned Society vacation time gaming. :D

Getting the vacation time approval from VC Heidmarch was hard as heck, but she understood when I told her I was only going to Korvosa and resting at my home there. I promised I would be on call to Nerosyan if I were to be recalled early from vacation. ;D

Grand Archive 4/5 **** Venture-Captain, California—San Francisco Bay Area South & West

Those lucky Goblins on Saturday will help me get my 2nd star.

Not bad for someone whose 1st GM session, EVER, was shortly after last year's Kublcon. It will a while before I reach the heights of 150 GM sessions though.

I'm not going to make it at Kublacon. I'll end the con at 146 sessions. I've had a few scheduled sessions cancel for lack of turn-out (I mean, is Mother's Day really that important?).

Anyway, it looks like I'll hit 5 stars by Free RPG Day.

... and yes, Andi, I do realize that I could hit 150 by GM'ing all 10 slots, but I want to game. After Saturday, I'll have played every scenario that is out (except Grand Melee). As an OCD completionist, this means more than hitting five-star by an arbitrary date.

Any chance of games for walk-ins?

Liberty's Edge 5/5

Dark Sasha wrote:

Definitely. One of the sneaky tricks we did was schedule games on Warhorn that only allowed one player to sign up -- this leaves room for 15+ players per slot to walk in and be seated.

I'd still recommend trying to sign up via Warhorn though!

He was definitely stabilized before the bomb though.

So close!

I've got my maps drawn, my dice polished, my characters audited, and my Oxford comma included.

Shadow Lodge 4/5 Venture-Captain, California—San Francisco Bay Area South & West

Due to some last-minute schedule changes I'm hastily prepping a couple of additional scenarios (at least I've got until Sunday, though ...)

Grand Lodge 5/5

I just turned on my Out of Office message for my work email....

is there anyone with access to a poster printer that could print out some maps for me? I'm running Cult of the Ebon Destroyers on Sunday and some poster maps would make the experience a LOT better since I'm currently down one flipmap due to some issues with permanent markers...

(I have the flip maps for my Thornkeep game on Monday that I'm also running)

Looking forward to running two high level (6-8 and 7-9) modules.. always fun to see what people come up with at higher levels of play... though a LOT to prep as well...

Grand Archive 4/5 **** Venture-Captain, California—San Francisco Bay Area South & West

OK, GM and player stuff ready, what else do I need???

Ah yes snacks. Oh and maybe some clothes.

We leave tomorrow, see you all there

Shadow Lodge 4/5 Venture-Captain, California—San Francisco Bay Area South & West

Well, we're (mostly) prepared for the important stuff (scenarios printed, faction missions and chronicles all ready, flip-mats and figures picked out). And our character sheets are up-to-date (even the one for the character who should level up between sessions during the con). Now we just need to pack clothes, snacks, and minor things like that.

Edit: Ninja'd from across the room!

Send me a picture or a pdf of it, I can print it for you. Do you need color or is black and white ok?

Grand Lodge 5/5

I can't do anymore printing before Con, but I do a have a couple extra poster maps that I will bring and have at HQ for those who need 'em.

[1st come <> 1st Serve]

* Day of the Demon - Both maps.

* Thornkeep - Enigma Vaults

* 3-19 Ice Bound Outpost

I know they're pretty, but please refrain from drooling on them and return them to HQ in the same condition borrowed.

Thank you!

Chris, I can prep Forgotten Furnace of Forbidden Koor and if Bonekeep ends early enough for most people, I would be down to run another game on Saturday night.
