yes you can still here voices. Perception if you want to hear what they are saying.

I will stay hidden behind the door indefinitely. I do not see a way out other than through this door and the voices. I will try to listen whenever possible to the voices. Here are a few perceptions to see if I can hear any part of a conversation.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12

You catch some snippets of conversation. it appears to be guards playing dice. a few hours later a guard walks through the door.
perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22

the guard turns to you drawing his sword.

the guard turns to you drawing his sword. initiative please

Initiative: 1d20 ⇒ 7

I hold my hands up in a surrender motion.

You got out. Says the guard leveling his sword at your throat.

Do other guards come or acknowledge that there is a problem or is he alone?

Am I able to attempt a disarm if I chose?

I can make you a wealthy man if you let me slip out.

there are 4 other guards now coming towards you.

I can make you all wealthy men. I am unsure why I am in here but I am sure my father can come to an arrangement with you gentlemen.

Your father HA, some lowly peasant can't bribe us.

My father is Lord Natreb. We are distant relatives of your royal King and Queen L'lyvenna. Do not tell me the king has been deposed!

your father hasn't been in control for years.

Take me to the king.

What are the other four guards doing. Are they acting funny or supporting the guy I am talking to? Do I know any of these guards?

Sense Motive 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15

you know none of the other guards. they stand back weapons drawn ready to attack at a moments notice.

I said take me to the king !

Take you to the king HA, the king is to busy for the likes of you. Boys put this savage in a bigger cell with a bigger lock.

There must be something I know that will convince the guards? Maybe something on my gear that shows I am royal. For that matter, I would likely know some of the people around the king or a way to contact him. He showed a liking to me (obviously not my father) and I assume we spent some time together. Even if it is just a name or two.

you know some names of nobles.

I will rattle off the names and put them in context as best I can.

I need to at least speak with the king's adviser, Gelion. I am being falsely imprisoned. Gather my gear and let us depart.

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (20) + 0 = 20

gelion is dead. with this the guard smacks you with the flat of his sword
attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4nonlethal

I am unconscious again.

You wake up in a cell again this one looks newer and the lock is twice as large.
you see two other cells one with a burly looking man sleeping in the corner.

Same area?

I will wait til the burly man wakes up and try to get to know him.

Is my rage back?

your rage is back. the man wakes up some hours later. when you try and talk to him him bears his pointed teeth at you and snarls.

I will try to bend the bars or break the lock. I will continue until I get a 20 to see if I can break out.

If I cannot, I will try to talk with the other two prisoners.

there aren't other prisoners. how ever a natural twenty does break the lock.

Am I in the same cell area as I was before with the two rooms and the stairs leading up?

No.

Okay, what does this room look like?

the room is smal and plain with one door leading out to the left.

I will listen at the door.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

sorry it took so long. paizo didn't notify me that you had posted.
you hear muffled voices but you cant tell what they are saying or who they are.

I really see no way out of this place so I am going to take a chance. I am going to break the other guy out and hope he will at least cause a distraction so I can escape to my last friend in the wilderness.

I will break the lock of the other cage and back towards the door, preparing to open it.

the burly man grins at you and steps out of his cage he gestures at the door questioningly. he says something in a strange language.
do you speak draconic?

I speak common only.

ok the toothy man walks over to the door and opens it slowly. as he does so the three guards from before stand up and draw swords.
Initiative please.

Initiative: 1d20 ⇒ 10

two of the guards come at you the third runs through the door behind him.
attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

HP: -9

Stabilize: 1d20 + 3 - 6 ⇒ (4) + 3 - 6 = 1
Stabilize: 1d20 + 3 - 7 ⇒ (4) + 3 - 7 = 0
Stabilize: 1d20 + 3 - 8 ⇒ (2) + 3 - 8 = -3
Stabilize: 1d20 + 3 - 9 ⇒ (19) + 3 - 9 = 13

Haven't eaten or drank anything since I was put in here. Let me know if I wake up.

you wake up in a dimly lit room. you recognize the steward and the burly toothed man. you are lying on a cot your wounds are bandaged and you feel refreshed.
you are up to full HP.

What is going on?

You were attacked by the guards I killed them and brought you here ~ the toothy man

To the steward, I meant, what is going on in my father's lands and for that matter with the king?

your father was overthrown not two weeks after you left. Kain seized power and assumed his role.

And the king?

Is my father alive?

your father is alive I believe, he's to valuable to kill, however I don't know where he is bing held.

I was told Gelion is dead.

What of the king?

correct me if im wrong but I thought your father was the king
