Ylera |

"Although the name I gave you and our patron is Lyra, my true name is Ylera. I regret the neccessary subterfuge, but I must take pains not to be found." She hesitates, almost embarrassed. "If speech is what you wish with this thing, that my Craft can provide if interrogation is the route you choose."

Ellesar |

"Well met, child. If interrogation will reliably reveal the source of the infestation and if there are any more, then I am all for it. Meanwhile, I will scout the remainder of the property in detal. Shall I meet you back here in, say, 10 minutes?
At this, Ellesar raises his hood and rolls off the ledge, dissapearing from sight.
1d20 + 18 ⇒ (7) + 18 = 25
Important note, characters with scent do not automatically detect me, regardless of range. they have to roll perception as normal

Hakka Tsadok |

"You don't want to wander alone, the poison of a Xill paralyzes its target!" Hakka growls a warning to Ellesar, but sighs as the elf vanishes from sight. He shakes his head before looking at Ylera. "Give me a moment to check this room for any hidden passages. Three of the Xill were in this room, and I find it hard to believe that was by coincidence."
Perception Check: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (18) + 19 = 37

Ellesar |

Hearing Hakka's warning, Ellesar catches himself on the ledge and pulls himself back up. "Well, that just unpleasant. You have a fair point my friend. And who do i have to thank for such potentially life saving advice?"
Ellesar then proceeds to recover all of his arrows. Anyone looking will notice the arrows are rather stout and unusually well-made, as even the ones buried in the flesh of the Xill come out and, after being cleaned, are replaced in his quiver.
"So who is taking point?"

Pendin Fust |

Close inspection of the room shows nothing in particular aside from this being a servant's quarters.
You remember seeing one of the Xill fade away entirely...
Ellesar, no alert from wolf friend

GM rubs his hands gleefully together. I've just decided on what this adventure will pan out to be. The last combat COULD be deadly. Just sayin'.

Ylera |

"Most of my remaining spells are of healing and support, but I can provide offense if needed, but it will be at the cost of spells that can be cast to remove parasites at any others that might be infected. As to this one, I can give you the means to speak with it, or we should simply dispatch it and be on with our hunt."

You don't recall much about them other than they are a human-shaped beast that has a horse's skull for a head. They walk on cracked hooves and bear the rotting wings of a carrion bird.
Hakka, you know that Xill have been known to receive orders from creatures such as demons who are more powerful than they are.
It's not specifically about identifying a creature or weaknesses so I can't add the 10 :(

Knowledge (Planes) on Leukodaemon with a Mythic Point: 1d20 + 1d6 + 17 ⇒ (20) + (6) + 17 = 43
I will know all the things regarding Planar creatures...all the things!
Hakka pauses mid-step, turning to look over his shoulder at Charlotte. "Leukodaemon...are you sure?" Mind racing, he starts to pull up everything he has ever heard on the creatures.
Unless the GM disagrees, it has been six minutes and Mythic Bless has ended. Please note your character sheets appropriately.
Judgement: 1/2
Bane: 3/6
Mythic: 4/8
AC: 23/22/11
Saves: 9/5/11
HP: 71/75

Pendin Fust |

Nope, GM agrees :) Also, feel free to look up leukodaemon, you basically have dissected a few with that kind of a roll! Plus...

Pendin Fust |

If you haven't seen it yet, Jason Buhlman put a post up saying they will likely lock these boards down by the end of the week. I've got 2 more encounters planned, let's see if we can get them done by then!

Hakka Tsadok |

Alright, I need to know if a Leukodaemon has a strong or overwhelming aura of evil to track with Follow Aura? I know they are evil outsiders, but not sure if they would technically qualify...

Pendin Fust |

Technically leukodaemon are not overwhelming evil, but in this case, yes you have an overwhelming evil aura to work with.

Pendin Fust |

Hakka, I meant to say that YES, you do have an overwhelming aura to work with.

Hakka Tsadok |

Oh, well in that case...
Hakka stiffens visibly before looking at the others. "We need to clear the servant's house quickly. If a Leukodaemon is here, then the bodies of everyone on this property aren't just at risk. There souls can be consumed as well!" With that, Hakka abandons all pretense of carefulness and starts kicking in doors, sword drawn, looking for anymore Xill who may be infesting the servant's house.

Pendin Fust |

As Hakka suddenly springs into desperate action, each room stands empty of any servants.
After the last room on the first floor is checked, you look towards the stairs...
Second floor will use the exact same map, minus the stairs and the doors to the outside. All doors are closed.
If you decide to go up there that is.

Ellesar |

Ellesar and his wolf slowly creep to the top the stairs, his bow trained ahead for any signs of enemy movement.
Using Hunter Trick: Chameleon Step to move up to twice my speed as a move action with no stealth penalty. Also remember that scent does not automatically detect me.
Ellesar Stealth: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (19) + 18 = 37
Ellesar Perception: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (10) + 16 = 26
Wolf Stealth: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24
Wolf Perception w/ Scent: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25

Hakka Tsadok |

Hakka stiffens as he walks up to the stairs and spies the pool of inky blackness, courtesy of his spell, pooling around the door to the northwest. With a hushed whisper he beckons up the stairs. "Quickly! Gather around me before we tackle the next room!"
Once everyone has gathered around Hakka he will cast and hold Shield of Faith, then spend a full round action to buff everyone (including the wolf!) with it. Everyone, for the next six minutes, gains a +3 deflection bonus to AC. I didn't realize you could do that with touch spells till last week, courtesy holding the charge here
For Ease of Reference:
Holding the Charge: If you don't discharge the spell in the round when you cast the spell, you can hold the charge indefinitely. You can continue to make touch attacks round after round. If you touch anything or anyone while holding a charge, even unintentionally, the spell discharges. If you cast another spell, the touch spell dissipates. You can touch one friend as a standard action or up to six friends as a full-round action. Alternatively, you may make a normal unarmed attack (or an attack with a natural weapon) while holding a charge. In this case, you aren't considered armed and you provoke attacks of opportunity as normal for the attack. If your unarmed attack or natural weapon attack normally doesn't provoke attacks of opportunity, neither does this attack. If the attack hits, you deal normal damage for your unarmed attack or natural weapon and the spell discharges. If the attack misses, you are still holding the charge.
Bolded the pertinent part.
