Who Survives? [spoilers for The Wormwood Mutiny]

Skull & Shackles

Scarab Sages

So, the skeleton crew sent to man the Man's Promise includes "all of the surviving members of the Wormwood's original crew". So, who survives the boarding? I didn't see anything mentioned of how many pirates fall, and if so, who. Any suggestions?

(I'm probably going to be running the Man's Promise fight tonight. 8^)

Liberty's Edge

Just pick at least eight crew members loyal to Plugg, throwing in some of the Rahadoumi sailors as needed.

Plugg
Scourge

Owlbear

Ambrose
Conchobar
Rosie Cusswell
Sandara
(these 4 NPC's will likely be loyal to the players)

The Players

8-10 Sailors loyal to Plugg.

Just my thoughts...

The impression I got was that when they said 'surviving members of the crew' they weren't referencing the fight with the Man's Promise so much as all the events that may have led up to that fight. Scourge didn't survive in our campaign for instance.

Generally speaking I think it should be kind of clear who the party has made friends and enemies with by now. For us, we had Ratline and Barefoot on our side for th emutiny on the Promise, as well as Hartshorn who was killed by Plugg when he turned on him, Sandara and Rosie who were essentially part of the party by then and Kroop who was a non-combatant. We also had four Rahadoumi soldiers whom didn't take part in the fighting and were left below under the watchful eye of Kroop when we engaged in the mutiny.

It doesn't have to be the surviving members really, just a mix of the crew that are friendly enough to the party to help them mutiny and then enough sailors under Plugg's command to make th emutiny an exciting fight... feel free to even overdo it a little as chances are when Plugg and Scourge go down those loyal to him will surrender.

I figure the Man's Promise had more crew than was needed, since it was a merchant vessel. I also figure that most gave up than try to fight it out, given the information on their homeland. At least, that's my impression.
