Miniature Bases of variable sizes.

I am having a bit of trouble finding mini bases for Huge, Gargantuan, and Colossal minis.

Does anyone know where bases of these sizes are available?

Here are some huge bases (you can just cut off the slot in the middle).

You might also look for bases measured in mm (75 mm ~ 3 inches, 100 mm ~ 4 inches, etc).

You can also look for 1 inch tiles and then glue them together to make larger bases.

At Litko, you can create and order custom bases of various materials with their Base Maker. The quality seems good, but you'd save alot of money making your own.

I like to use tin because it's durable, fairly inexpensive and heavy enough to keep large minis from falling over. All you need is a pair of tin snips, and you can cut the sheet to whatever size you need. Cardboard, especially from pizza boxes, is a good alternative if you can't afford tin or don't have something to cut it.

Jar or plastic container lids of the appropriate diameter will also work.

If you're okay with square bases, it's very easy to custom make those of course, and/or combine smaller square bases to make larger ones.

ETA: Here's a 3 inch wood circle that would also work for a huge base.

And here's 4 inch ones.

Nice finds Deathquaker.

My brother is quite good at fabricating, and painting miniatures, so while some of the available Huge, Gargantuan, and Colossal minis are very nice, custom ones are preferred.

The wood ones seem neat, but I was hoping to find some plastic ones.

Gargantuan and Colossal seem the hardest to find.

Once painted and decorated, you are not going to be able to tell whether a base is wood or plastic. I've had bases made of foamboard that once finished just looked like any other mini.

The only other thing I can suggest is go to a craft store and/or home improvement store and shop around, you may find some item of the right diameter that will work appropriately.

There are lots of little online stores out there that will sell custom plastic bases if you are really set on it:

There's also forgecraft and secretweapon but I think they only go up to about 60mm.

Cool. Thanks for the links.

You could probably use these for gargantuan bases.

So if they manage to get to the next target of $50k, you can get 75 Medium Bases & 8 40mm Bases. Along with a 'Egg-base' & a 'Grub' Mini. Wow, that's a good deal.

I went to Lowe's and got a nice piece of wood for $7.00 and made them cut 3x3" pieces out of it. Looking back I should have had them finish the job but I have a saw at home. I still have like 3'x2' left for cutting bases of any size.

After you finish the base, you cant tell that it was just wood from a hardware store.

Dungeon Crawler maker great blank bases, size small (1/2x1/2) to gargantuan (4x4). They also do flying bases and long (1x2). And a crazy big 8x8.
