Hi all, thanks for the invite! I’ll be bringing my Dwarf caster cleric. I’ve got my work Gala this weekend but will hopefully have a chance to triple check everything and get him going by Monday at the latest.
So, quick synopsis, all players are new members of the Pathfinder Society. The others were called to Heidmarch Manor to meet with Sheila Heidmarch, a famous Pathfinder and the co-founder of the Pathfinder lodge in Magnimar. From there they were given the task of running down the whereabouts of Natalya Vancaskerkin and bring her to Heidmarch Manor because the young woman had promised to provide an object of interest to the lodge but has now gone dark. The initial team has rundown her whereabouts and are just checking on her most recent location.
I have one other I have invited so when he pops in, I'll work you two into the story.

Waaaaitaminute...arcane character? Know-it-all? Looks like we're gonna have some interesting moments then. Lots of awkward laughter and squinting, followed by more awkward laughter as we both pretend we're not claiming to be the smartest because of COURSE we would NEVER be so self-absorbed, perish the thought! It doesn't MATTER who's the smartest or best arcane caster because what MATTERS is we both bring a wondrous repertoire of magical solutions and the whole party benefits! Right?

Aurie in terms of negotiation:
While far from being harmless, Aurie will typically give enemies she would have empathy with (she can certainly empathize with some street toughs) a chance to retreat or surrender. If she gets the drop on them, she will use this to intimidate them into doing just that.
Also, while a dead body or 3 wouldnt raise much eyebrows, the venture captain overall prefers non bloody solutions.

Ok, I am trying to work out something with one of the other characters but no response as of yet. Anyway, you are all prodigies, therefore, you get either a +4 to any one stat or two stats with +2. Please let me know which way you wish to go. No adjusting any other scores to accommodate, this is to stack on top of your earlier choices.

OOOO, hmmm would this be able to boost a stat over 18?
Yes, I forgot about that. Rheagar and Molasbar please apply the bonus/bonuses. I see Rheagar has done so, Malasbar please let me know which option you go with.

Wow. To split, or not to split. I'll let you know shortly.
Edit: I'll split it: +2 Intelligence and +2 Constitution to make him a bit more durable.
Yes, you may count it as a buckler. It even says treat as buckler. However, it would lose that when entangling and would need to be rewrapped to go back to a buckler

I kind of plan to invest into a robe of endless twine at some point (given how fashion concious Aurie is, she would pay extra for a more fashionable robe of endless silk).
Reasoning for the "wrapping" thing is that this module has a fair number of enemies that frankly dont deserve to die, and I want some non lethal options.

Welp, this week has been...purgatorial, to say the least. If you've never suffered kidney stones, count your blessings; they HURT. They're the kind of pain that makes you want to take a knife to your side just to rip the offender out...or maybe just pray for a quick death. Pick your poison.
Also, turns out it WAS actual hardware death for my PC, though now I don't know if i need a new power supply, CPU or a whole new motherboard. FML, right?

Well, the stone or stones have passed I think...still not a hundred percent discomfort free but at least I can handle going back to work. Got my hands on a borrowed PC for now; it's sluggish but it'll serve better than my phone. Have to hope I've diagnosed my hardware problem properly and ordered what I HOPE will serve as a good jury-rigging for now; it'll either be a cheap and nasty fix or a very expensive replacement.
I've always known computers were my hot rods...guess I had to pay my dues and get my hands dirty eventually, right?
Now let me see if I can get my head caught up with the campaign. Speaking of which, sorry if I held us up and thanks for being patient.

Sorry to hear about the kidney stones. Haven't had to deal with those yet, but know many who have suffered through them. Praying your physical AND computer problems resolve quickly and easily!
Headed to the Young Writer’s Workshop for the week. Not sure about connectivity as I am taking my camper. I will try to post from my phone though I may have a bad signal. Be back Friday evening.

I don't think it can affect targeting; all it says is I can't target myself with an affected spell, though I can hit myself if it's an area. Good for extending durations or increasing leveled dice though.

Dodging Panache (Ex):
Opportune Parry and Riposte (Ex):
She intends to buy a masterwork Falcata, this is considerable as essentially her offensive abilities go from
+6 d6 to +8 d8+6 because she gets dex to damage from swashbucklers finesse due to variant build rules.
If it turns out that reactive abilities cause too many retcons, (both dodging panache and opportune parry and riposte absolutely have the potential to slow pbp to a crawl, I would be happy to exchange them for something that delays things less.
@Aurie: yes, it is a short sword. You have a 1,000 gold and you are not taking off until tomorrow morning. You still have the afternoon to spend your gold. And yes, with the discovery of the shard of pride, you gain 2nd level, nice reminder.
Don't forget, auto bonus progression modified. At 2nd level you get:
