So on short notice my company is jetting me over to their Detroit office next week, flying back on Wednesday. As I know nobody there and have no evening plans, what's the game status on those nights?

I see that I'm on the off week for the RIW Hobbies game, and the Collectible Treasure/Mythical Realm is listed as only having 1 table that night and I wouldn't want to crash and take up someone else's slot. Are there any other events that aren't regularly listed that might be going on?

Thanks!

Well, the last session at CT/MR they had two tables. They might very well have space if they know you're coming. I'll see if I can't herd someone over here.. ;)

Walter, Is there anything in specific you wish to play? I'd love a chance at helping a visiting VL not have to eat a mod. Since I am the guy who runs the weeknight events at RIW I am pretty sure we can set something up.

Hi Eric! I'm in communication with uncleden as well. Honestly I'm fine with anything, even something I've played before -- meeting new people and playing the game is what this is all about, right?

I'd be happy to head to either Collectible Treasure or RIW Hobbies, although it sounds like the game at RIW might be being organized just for me, which I'd feel bad about making someone do :(

I'll be puttering around online for another hour or so before we fly out, and then it'll be a few hours before I can check these boards again.

So what mod would you like? The sooner i know this the more likely i can actually put a table together.

If you haven't played Song of the Sea Witch, then I offer to be a second judge in case of overflow at Collectible Treasure.

Walter I am sure Uncleden has no problem putting a table together for you. I would even be happy to sit and play at your table.

Walter, I had a great time GMing for you tonight. Hopefully I get to sit in on a table again with you eventually. Hope you had fun tonight.

Now that I have some time to myself I just wanted to post back on here and thank the PFSers of Michigan for an awesome time.

They went out of their way to organize and prep a game with virtually no notice for me, and it was a blast. I got to meet their new VC (Mason, I'm pretty sure your rhino was the MVP) and be part of one of the most humorous "PCs and this scenario" mashups ever (a paladin in the middle of a gang war, how is this a bad thing?). I'm grateful that they tolerated my bardic shenanigans, as well as my jet lag.

Best of all, I finally got to play my bard and experience the joy of illusions once more. Thanks everyone, and thank you for GMing John -- I hope to see you all at Paizocon next year!

Glad to have you around. You are not the first out of town stranger we have set up a game for, nor will you be the last.

Glad you didn't get too irritated with my malibu paladin shenanigans.

Glad you enjoyed yourself Walter. I know Rhino put in some damage but Mike was laying down some hurt as well.

I will do my best to make it to Paizocon but I know I will at least make it to Gencon.
