James. Could you possibly do one 200+ page hard cover book per year that is tied to the region that PFS is concentrated on. The smaller books are nice but to small they do not go into enough detail on the region. Is there going to be a Hard cove book for Dragon Kingdoms?
We could, but we haven't done so yet. All our "extra" hardcover-equivalent products to date have been on one level reprints. Doing a brand new hardcover of that size from scratch? I'm not sure we could pull that off without other product lines taking a big hit to their tender, delicate scheduling glands.
I'd rather see more hardcover regional detail books over more hardcovers with additional equipment, character upgrades, and so on.
While I've loved something from every HC so far, I can imagine that rules bloat may be coming. But background bloat is never a bad thing (and there can be rules in there as well).
