Got to love ANYTHING with Baba-Yaga in it. Ohhh dang now I might have to wait yet ANOTHER 6 months for this "Reign of Winter" to come out now. Dang it!! Do I start Shattered Star first or do I wait and start Reign of Winter. But I still have to complete the second half of book 5 and book 6 of Carrion Crown first. The rate they are going it might take six months hehe. :)

All of the above.

JJ hinted to Justin that he will be getting one of Mythic and an Irrisen AP, and in the AP seminar they apparently commented that Reign of Winter doesn't truly count as an Irrisen AP as only 1.5 modules are there...

I should point out that no one has said that it isn't an Irrisen AP as far as I know. However, since about as much of this one occurs in Irrisen as Jade Regent did in the Lands of the Linnorm Kings, and given JJs tendencies to mess with my questions. I say Mythic level rules are being announced in about 7 hours.

You don't have to sign up for facebook or anything. You can just read the announcements as they post them.
Anyway, something about a virtual table top is the last one.
Paizo reinvents the virtual tabletop to be played directly on Paizo.com!
Uses Paizo's high, max resolution maps, handouts and everything you need to run our APs. Makes everything easy to connect with people and get playing. As long as you can get to Paizo.com you can play!

So, no Mythic Rules then?
Not yet, but the Gencon book wasn't announced, and if we were going to get it, it would be for Gencon
Also Ultimate Campaigns doesn't sound like it'd need much if any public playtesting, which frees up time to do a significant Playtest if it is a major expansion like Mythic

Kind of disapointed.
The next AP sounds interesting to me.
Ultimate Campaign, I am not sold on this one plus I wish they would stop using "Ultimate" for these books because so far they are always the disapointing ones.
I wasn't expecting mythic rules yet besides I would like rules for Psionics before we go "epic".
So the Baba Yaga AP and Ultimate Campaign are the only new anouncements then?

Good point, can we have Advanced Campaigns instead? The Advanced books have been much more satisfying than the Ultimate books.

I think it has been said that Paizo won't do psionics, but that this is something for 3PP to accomplish.

Overall I'm much more excited about the products announced this year. It appears they're slowing down on the new feat/race/class/spell books, which I consider to be a big positive. The NPC codex is particularly promising, sticking as it does to the Core Rulebook. I'll be picking that up, and probably Ultimate Campaign as well. The gamespace sounds amazing, and I'm really looking forward to Shattered Star. Things are really looking up... :)

I’m excited to hear about the next PF Battles set and glad to hear the next set will be a good size (I like bigger sets).
But I am a bit leery on the set being attached to an AP again. Is this going to be a normal occurrence now? Each PF battles set will go along with the current AP?
I don’t have an issue with it as long as we get all the monsters/NPCs/classes that are in all the books, and not too many unique minis you would find only in the Shattered Star.

Releasing the Shattered Star Pathfinder Battles miniatures more or less concurrently with the Adventure Path itself is an experiment. While there are a lot of great things about it (hey, minis for the AP you're playing RIGHT NOW!) it also involves a TON of coordination and lots of decisions must be made far, far earlier than we have traditionally made them. So we'll have to see if this is a trend or not.
It's certainly the current plan that some sets will NOT tie into the Adventure Paths, so if you're not a huge fan of that plan, you should be OK with how things develop over the next few sets. Even for the AP-related sets, a significant number of the figures will be "rank and file" monsters from the Bestiaries, rather than specific NPCs. And as for the specific NPCs, in many cases these will easily double as player character miniatures, which means we probably WON'T do a bunch of generic "human barbarians" and what-not, because the NPC figures will cover these niches quite nicely.

That’s great to hear, thanks Erik!
And I can live with the NPCs substituting the ‘generic’ human barbarians, although the only request I would make is could we have more than one across multiple sets? So you aren’t using the same ‘human barbarian’ over and over, and especially if you have one in a party.
And that request would apply for other classes, as well.
Honestly, what I would love to see more of is nobles, farmers (peasants) or even children. We use all of them often enough during our sessions.

This is what I'd like to see. Maybe a mini set to go with the NPC hardcover? We have a ton of minis but it is still very hard to find one that matches closely with whatever monster/bad guys we're fighting at the time. The minis we treasure most dearly are the ones we use as PC's. Having an NPC set would be awesome because of the ability to use those as PC minis.
