3) No immersion breaking names

The only problem with "no immersion braking names" is just that what is immersion breaking to me may not be for other and vice-versa. We do have, for example people with funny and/or unusual nicknames. So why should not someone be allowed to adopt a name such as "Gideon FunnyFace" or "Roy SmellyFinger" or "Allya FatBelly" ?

Exactly this. You really can't ask for something to be implemented based off subjectivity.

However, if you're talking about 'immersion breaking' in regards to players assuming the names of characters from Pathfinder lore, that could be restricted. Square did this with FFXI by blocking all the names from the franchise's many titles. That way you didn't have any players named "Sephiroth" or "Cloud" (of course, that didn't stop people from taking those names with creative spelling, but to me that's just a big sign that says "Hey, I want you to think less of me!")

Some more thoughts about names:

Even famous and copyrighted names sometimes should be allowed, especially surnames.

Examples: Harry Potter is clearly a name that should not be allowed, But if someone decides to name his char "Ulmer Potter" or "Lyander Potter"? Potter is just a surname like Carpenter or Kennedy or anyone else. In the above citted cases I would allow those names to be used.

Another:
A char named Wolverine is really subject to rejection for obvious copyright problems. But if someone create a "Roy Wolverine" and work in a good background explanation for this name? It is just an animal, so why "Hawk" is ok but "wolverine" not?

And how about a Gnome named "Nax Green-lantern" shoud be forbidden just because there is a DC hero with this nickname? I don't think so.
Again he could just have a good background explanation for this surname such as "in my home we have a green lantern at the door that is in our familly for more than 6oo years, so we addopted Green-lantern ar surname some centuries ago".

As for being "immension breaking" some could argument that latim names (or any other language names) are that way too. I disagree, but some could say Pax Mercatorium is not a good name for a charted company, because it is "imersion breaking". A total nonsense IMO, but some could think different.

Just some more two copper pieces in a subject I'm very interested in.

TY all!
