You also might want to post something like this on the Georgia PFS Forums. You may or may not play Pathfinder Society, but we've got a large community that not only does Society play but also they do home games. Most of the gamers in our group are from the Atlanta area, and I think we're currently around 200 something members.

P.S. As an added benefit you could try out one of our game days and see if you like Pathfinder Society! It would be a good opportunity to meet people you'd like to ask in for a home game too :)

@Alizor - thanks!

One of the guys went to something last night to meet people - I think it was the Georgia PFS Forum. Hopefully we can round out out three empty seats we are eager to play, and I'm eager to GM.

Heads up players-seeking-a-game... I'm meeting with a player this Sunday, May 13th 10am-2pm, to build his character and do some gaming.

If you are interested in joining my new Pathfinder "Sojourn" campaign, let me know. I'll...
-invite you to the yahoo group
-share the approprite character creation google docs
-fill you in on the location (Norcross, GA) and other details

Of course I couldn't find anyone when I actually lived in Atlanta. Worse yet, I lived near Gwinnet Place mall for a short time - so not terribly far from Norcross!

Are you in the atlanta metro area? I'm south of Atlanta (Peachtree City), so Norcross is just the current meeting place, it could easily change depending who plays.

I've called my Pathfinder campaign "Sojourn" because I hope to give players freedom to choose the path's that most interest them. The world is full of adventure and plots move on with or without players getting involved. The key is to find where you're interests and talents are best suited...

"'Tis easy to fill your ears with stale news and talk of weather, but the keen eared adventurer has learned to fish the waters of daily talk and cull the bits that warrant further investigation. For instance, this story of a man who succumbed to seizures at the city gate, his last breath a warning about the “Green Widow”. Or the rumors of a “giant” wandering in the western wilderness... perhaps it is just the blathering of a drunken trapper, but perhaps not. And, why is the old North highway bridge no long crossable? Ahhh, but not all concerns come from outside the city... nay, worries abound in our backyard. Such as, who are “The Swordless Seven” and how do they manage to so efficiently thwart the constabulary? Business are born and die every day, but why, oh why, does the failure of a Vudrani family’s rug empire beckon further scrutiny? And where is the complete collection of rare books willed to the library by the Colson estate? Yes indeed, there is never an idle moment in the life of a would be adventurer... "

I am not even in the state anymore.

FYI - We are meeting this Sunday 10am - 2pm. We are creating characters and hopefully getting some gaming in. Even if you just want to meet the group first to make sure we are sane... its cool. My friend (Mike) and I (Brian) will be at the 45 S Cafe in historic downtown Norcross, GA. Just look for the two guys with Pathfinder books all over the place.

Yeah, yeah I know its Mother's Day and all that. Just tell mom you've got a world to save, I'm sure she'll understand! Or, better yet, take mom to brunch but sneak over and say "hey" if you're interested in some good gaming.

Just two seats left at DM Brian's game table! Get in on the ground floor of a new Pathfinder campaign and an all new group of (so far seasoned) players!

Slot 1 (taken) - We have a Sorcerer
Slot 2 (taken) - We have a Barbarian / Rogue (technically one or the other since we are begnning at 1st level)
Slot 3 - this could be you!
Slot 4 - this could be a friend of yours!**

**or that goof from the '93 GenCon you hoped to never see again, because you FAILED to tell your friend about this awsome opportunity!

I still have open seats for two players for a twice a month ongoing campaign that is just starting. I'm looking for players with a flair for role-playing to do some Sunday morning gaming.

-I've been a GM since the 80s (for AD&D, D&D 2nd ed. D&D 3ed, D&D 3.5 and Pathfinder) and have run many successful campaigns
-I'm prone to typos and spelling mistakes :)
-I'm comfortable with my style: consistent, non-adversarial, cooperative - "lets make a good story"
-My goal is no house rules - mainly so that there are no rules surprises and everybody knows what to expect.
-I've never had a player leave my games, they always seem to happily come back for more.
-My campaigns tend to have a "classic fantasy" feel, with lots of depth to help your "immersion".
-I like to get into gaming quickly, keep it moving, maximize game time and avoid distractions that "kill the role-playing mood"

I'm definitely not trying to toot my own horn - but I want to enable a match of playing styles.

If the above sounds good to you drop me a line and get in on what will be a memorable experience for months to come.

DM Brian

Bump. Two open seats remaining, first game day is 6/24 @ 10am. I'll be out of town this coming week so if you're looking to join contact me ASAP.

Campaign is starting Sunday morning 10am in Norcross. Let me know if you are interested, two open seats remain...

Druskin stared into his ale. He was weary from the day's travel, and lacked the strength to even lift the mug. Suddenly there was a bump as something brushed up against the window of the tavern adjacent to his table. He squinted trying to make out the shapes moving in the street... "must have been a coach," he mumbled to his ale. Just then, the window shattered and he knew his day was not over...

Clay the gnome sorcerer and Wolfe the half-orc barbarian had hoped for more allies to aid them in thier quest to scout for the Hill giant spotted nortwest of Carpenden. But today these two brave heroes went alone into the wilderness. The spotted the Hill Giant interacting with an orc encampment - could they be working together or has some foul bargin been struck? And what is in the bundles the giant carried away from the orc camp?!?!

Clay and Wolfe circumnavigated the orc camp avoiding its patorls and found a large cluster of rocky hills. The path into the hill country was marked with a pair of poles decorated in every kind of humanoid skull, and a thin whisp of smoke curled into the air. "Somebody is home," noted Clay. Must they face this menace alone? Or will local Atlanta-based players step up and join the daring endeavor taken on by these two characters?

They could use a cleric and another front line warrior, but at this point I think they'd take any help they could get!

Contact me if you want in on the action!

Do you still need players? I am in Duluth and work in Dunwoody.

This game/thread may be long expired, but I am hopeful the group is still going. I am a seasoned 30-something gamer looking for a good group. I currently live in the Sandy Springs area. If this group is still meeting and needs a player, please feel free to contact me. Cheers!
