It's amazing what you can accomplish with insane ambition and a huge talent pool made up of some of the brightest minds the world has ever known.
Sometimes when I see what Google is up to, I feel like Michael Caine's character from The Prestige when he talks about Angier's box, wondering over something that appears to be magic, appears to be a trick, but is in fact very, very real.

Project Glass SmartGlasses
When I first saw that commercial my first two thoughts were, wow he's so lazy for taking the subway when that bookstore is so close and that looks like a beautiful day in New York. (And the guy in the ad looks like he's got a lot of time on his hands)
My next thought was, I'd like to see that guy wear his glasses in the subway up in the Bronx.
The MUD truck you see in the commercial has yummy treats though!
This would be a more apt Ad me thinks.
Kidding aside I probably will get the iGlasses (I know they are Google) when the 2nd generation comes out.
This is probably more what it is going to look like.
It isn't augmented ... its ADmented.
It's still a far cry better than the Windows version.
