It would be nice if there was a central location where GMs can post their ad hoc game events, game name, description, number of players wanted, time, location online. That way, instead of sticking our noses into the various free rooms, it would be easier to know that someone is going to be in Room X @ 9 PM wanting to run Game Z.
Some industry conventions used to offer an online calendar for this, which was awesome for scheduling meetings. Or even the classic pin up board would work.
I havent given much thought on implementation - I guess this could be done via a sub-forum or Facebook. What do you all think?

Seconded!
This would have been great last year. I'd vote for a board somewhere at the con where we could pin a standard form with game description, room, number of players, whatever.
Before the con, a thread here would be good, but I'd still want the board at the con, as I never really know exactly when or where I'll be running a game until I'm there. :)
With the ad-hoc games mixed in with scheduled games, I found myself searching room-to-room, and never knowing which was which (and I didn't want to interrupt each DM and to ask if they were just starting and had room for a couple of extra players).
Also, I had a couple of people ask me, after I'd already run the games, about the "extra" games that I'd announced on the forums, saying they looked but couldn't find me.
The same board could serve as a place to let people know what games are still empty as players seem to not show up a lot on Sunday mornings.
It seems it wouldn't take much to implement: a large cork board in a prominent location along with a stack of forms and a box of pushpins...
