I have lost a lot of games I was a player in. I am down to two amd one of those is barely hanging in there.
I really want to play Jade Regent. I have an Aasimar Ninja I had made for one that did not go anywhere. It was a really fun character too but sadly the game ended at the first combat.....people just stopped posting for some reason
So now I am shouting out for any GM who would be willing to take my Character into their game.
Look under my profile at the Alias of Tanimoto. That would be my character.
Thank you to any who consider.
P.S I will adjust stats to fit GM requirements

Hey Amgir! Current games are going good. Check out my profile if you want to scout them out.
Stalking me now are you Vanulf?
Seeing how it looks like we have our 4 players I'll be glad to run this for you all. We have a Sorcerer, Rogue, Ninja, and Samurai. Are you comfortable running with this? If so I'll throw up a discussion thread and we can get this started probably tomorrow.
I should warn you(Tani and Caerwyn already know) that I do not have internet access at my house so I will only be able to post while at the library and that limits usage to 2 hours/day. If thats a problem I understand.
DM Mathpro
Can I jump in as a kitsune monk?
Sure though if you wouldn't mind a slight suggestion...I think a Nagaji would be better for a monk but that's just my opinion.
So it looks like we have 5 players now so you guys are just going to have to survive with that because I don't like running more than that as it bogs down play and this game is already going to be slow enough with me not being able to post as much as I would like.

-going to do a 20 point buy.
-No race or Archetypes though if your race isn't core then please provide a link to the source.
-Average starting gold.
-2 traits, one has to be from the players guide.
-No stats above 18 or below 8 before racial modifiers. If you do have a stat below 10 I expect you to play it up in character.
-Hit points are max at first level and then rolled or average after.
I had another point but it slipped my mind.

As far as backgrounds I am leaning one of two ways. Either an agent of the kami, being virtual nature gods sent to ensure that next scion of the Minkai throne would respect the land on which the empire is built.
Or
A lost, abandoned child raised by shalelu in the woods where he learned his trade away from the civilization in varisia.
DM Mathpro
Thats fine tani and you're very welcome for running this. Like I said up thread I've been wanting to run this but the real life group that I was going to run this for doesn't look to be panning out.
While I'm thinking about it does anyone have the know how on how to make good combat maps? Not that we're going to be using these a lot but sometimes they help.
Also I want to let people know that I'm going to be doing story based xp instead of encounter based. This encourages my players to role play more and hack and slash less and this AP is very focused on RP.

DMMathPro,
I'm actually going to do a combination of the two ideas and do a kitsune multiclassed druid/monk.
The idea i am working on is a young kitsune who was raised by the kami for the protection of the forest until Ameiko's family was going through to varisia and he stowed away. there we was left alone when they settled near Sandpoint. Bereft he survived in the forest where he watched and learned. He watched how things interact and how they protect themselves and he watched those things that couldn't protect themselves. He watched the animals, the goblins, and the humans. Until one day when he interrupted a hunter in order to protect a young fawn. He changed and stepped in front of the arrow taking it to the chest. The hunter distraught, took the boy back to his home. The hunter and his wife unable to conceive children decided to take care of the boy. The hunter, a deputy in sandpoint, named the boy Godfrey and cared for as his own. The hunter was lost about 5 years ago in a goblin raid during the Swallow Tail festival. The boy took a job in the stables working for Ameiko taking care of visitors horses. He developed relationships with all the residents of Sandpoint, and cared for them like family, both humans and animals. He was just as likely to sleep at home under his "mother's" roof has in the stables or under the stars. And so this was his home, but he longed to see more of the world and more of the natural beauty that surrounded the world. But he's content as is, for now.
That was more than I expected to write. I will expand more later if you wish.
Also I haven't decided on any archetype for a druid yet.

@Vanulf: I'm aware of his limited time online.
@ DM Mathpro: I see "no archetypes" in your post about character creation guidelines but I had intended to play the sword saint variant of the samurai which swaps out all the annoying class abilities (mount, horse archer, banner, greater banner). Would it be acceptable to play that?
Kerri Corynian
I have adjusted my Kerri to fit in with your guidelines. All I have to do now is look through the caravan equipment to see whether there is anything I should buy from there.
If you could read over everything for me and let me know what you think? The back-story is there too, if there are any questions, just ask.

Okay good catch Kyle. I meant to say no Race or Archetype restrictions meaning all races and archetypes are fine. SO go ahead and be your sword saint variant its fine.
If anyone made characters with out archetypes that wanted them go ahead and rework them...I'm sorry for the confusion. It looks like we're good to go and I know tani is itching to get this started so once I check in on my other games I'll get a game thread up and started.
DM Mathpro
Hey DaWay can you do me a favor and make an alias like Kerri and Tani have for your character. If you don't know how then see the spoiler below.
@Kerri: I don't really have a problem with that but lets get beyond the first book before we make to many long range plans.
To create an alias;
1)right click on account at the top (so you don't loose this page),
2)sign in
3)in "Messageboard Aliases" click on "Create new messageboard alias"
4)put in the alias' name in alias name field
5)under avatar image, click change, select an avatar that matches the character concept as close as possible and click on it.
6)click on "submit changes" and the alias is created, but is blank.
7)in "Messageboard Aliases" you'll now see your new character alias, click on it and you'll be taken to the profile page,
8)click on create profile and fill it in will all the needed data, you can use Eve above as a template, just click on her name.
DM Mathpro
I'm looking forward to this also. I'll be getting the discussion thread up shortly(other games needed my attention) and then I'll get the in game thread up after that. Please post your finalized character in the discussion thread so I can look it over and then post in the game thread seeing how the first part of this is going to be mainly role play. I add a little pre-adventure to this to get you more hooked.
I should warn you after I get the threads up I'll probably have to disappear. I've got a gaming group coming over tonight and the house is in desperate need of cleaning.

DaWay, if you want I can email you a generic PbP template that I use. Just copy and paste it in the profile and you can then fill it in or customize it to fit your character, just send me an email at mlenehan1(at)yahoo(dot)com.
I appreciate the offer, I really do, but i'm good. I was just posting for Mathpro to see the character before I committed to doing an alias. Like I said after I get off work and have time away from the wife. I'll get an alias up.
Thanks again though.
