What's your Bartle Type?

Pathfinder Online

Answering a question in another thread prompted me to look up the old Bartle test for MUD player types. These apply to MMOs as well. So may I ask... what's your Bartle Type? (Lest someone think I am going off topic, knowing what kinds of players they have will certainly help Goblinworks in designing the game!)

More information here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bartle_Test

And you can take an online test here: http://www.gamerdna.com/quizzes/bartle-test-of-gamer-psychology

I come out as an Explorer, first. Probably an Achiever second.

It didn't give me my percentile breakdown :( But from what I can tell I majored in Social Killer with a minor in Social Achiever.

Liberty's Edge Goblin Squad Member

Socializer: 80%, Explorer: 73%, Achiever: 47%, Killer: 0%

LOL
Killer 0%, as it was hard to guess (at least for people that know me).

@Kyrt I think you need to register to get the a % breakdown like the one above, but you can still get your percentages clicking on the different labels on the side of the hexagon.

QED from the test "you like to show your knowledge", even if you have got it 10 seconds ago :D

I come out as a Killer then secondary influence is "Killer Achiever"

Killer: 80%, Achiever: 60%, Explorer: 33%, Socializer: 27%

EDIT:

added percentages and changed "Killer Explorer" to "Killer Achiever"

Goblin Squad Member

EXPLORER (Thoughtful 30% Exploratory 100% Social 91%) (Physical -38% Reward Drive -42% Competetive -71%)

"No stone unturned!"
Description:
It's not so much the wandering around and poking about, but that euphoric eureka moment the Explorer strives for. The joys of discovery do not necessarily involve geography, real or virtual. They may derive from the mental road less traveled, the uncovering of esoteric or hidden knowledge and it's creative application. Explorers make great theory crafters. The most infinitesimal bit of newness can deliver the most delicious zing to an Explorer.

Secondary influences

this made me go ( O . o )
Explorer Killers enjoy seeing the world, meeting interesting people...and killing them. EKs love all discovery, but finding an edge over the competition is best. Always seeking new opportunity, an EK likely knows the ten best places to find certain types of opponents, as well as ten different ways for taking them down.

Sadly true, this part!
Explorer Achievers have been there, done that and have the t-shirt...in fact they have a plethora of t-shirts, badges, trophies and other rewards. EAs are the completionists of the gamer world. They like to find new places, quests, easter eggs, unlocks, maps etc. and check them off as have, visited or beaten. Like real world travelers, EAs enjoy collecting memorabilia that helps them relive their experiences later.

I do this so much on WoW, it's not funny!
Explorer Socializers are the glue of the online world. Not only do they like to delve in to find all the cool stuff, but they also enjoy sharing that knowledge with others. Explorer socializers power the wikis, maps, forums and theory craft sites of the gamer world.

Scarab Sages

Explorer: 80%, Socializer: 47%, Killer: 40%, Achiever: 33%

I'm not surprised. I like looking around at cool scenery and going "Whoa..."

Explorer and then Achiever, with the other two a distant third place.

Goblin Squad Member

Explorer 73%, Socializer 73%, Killer 47%, Achiever 13%.

The last one doesn't look very good on paper does it?

Goblin Squad Member

Explorer 80%, Socializer 67%, Killer 33%, Achiever 20%

With the other breakdown I got:
-100% Reward driven
29% Thoughtful
100% Exploratory
17% Physical
59% Social
-26% Sadistic

Goblinworks Founder

Explorer 73%
Killer: 53%
Achiever: 40%
Socializer: 33%

This was from way back in 2009 when I was playing Age of Conan. I tried to take the test again but the options on the questions don't really relate to any decision I would make.

I couldn't care about achievements in a game anymore so when I was faced with questions like would I prefer the best gear on the server or the best reputation or some other tripe.. I was merely picking the lesser of two evils when I would normally have a negative response to both.

Explorer: 93%, Killer: 60%, Socializer: 27%, Achiever: 20%

Ack! And I always wondered why MMOs lack depth! :D
