The Super Strength Gene?

Switching this off will give us incredible physical strength

But what if this is the 'Berserker' Gene? If we switch this off we could be condemning the human race to a very bad day where emotionally enraged people have great strength to back up a lifetime of insanity.

Perhaps it's to keep us from exceeding our bodies "factory specs." In other words just bercause you have the power to lift a car dosen't mean your body won't be crushed under the weight of one. Bones can only support so much weight.

You know that gene has been being researched for a while, and people are born with it naturally turned off quite often.

What you need to know is what naturally occurring enzymes will turn it on for your unborn velociraptor?

What plants do you need to eat to breed those little supersoldiers?

...This is honestly the first time a post has ever made me facepalm. Just...wow.

Its not a berzerker gene its a "stop growing so much muscle we're trying to conserve calories here.

In other words its your dad with the thermostat.

Correct. The gene was identified, according to this article, back in 1997. I remember seeing a program where a child with hypertrophy was featured. It's weird seeing a 4 year old with six-pack abs.

I want this gene for purely superficial reasons.
