Pathfinder Wild West Adventure Path?

Pathfinder Adventure Path General Discussion

Just wondering if anyone knows if there's a Wild West adventure in the works? I'd love to see something reminiscent of Deadlands, where cowboys fight demonic creatures.

I am unaware if there is, but I'd like to note my thoughts on the matter; that would be most badass.

I don't even like using published adventures and I'd so buy that.

I concur wholeheartedly. :)

In game terms, the PCs would all be human gunslingers, and advanced firearms would be available.

I wouldn't hold my breath. I can't think of anywhere in Golarion a Wild West adventure could be set, and Paizo is pretty tied to the setting. Might want to go poke some third-party publishers for your dose of weird west.

Yeah, probably right.

Silver Crusade

If you were going to write it then the Mana Wastes and Alkenstar would be the ideal setting.

But firearms are a very contentious issue for a lot of players and GM's. Many people do not like firearms in their fantasy so I doubt that Paizo would do an AP like this.

The point is that AP's are Paizo's bread and butter, their key income stream. That means that each AP has to appeal to as many people as possible. It also has to take into account all playstyles and character classes and a gun orientated AP would require people to play in a specific play style, one that is a niche market. It's not in Paizo's financial interest to do that and therefore I would not expect this AP anytime soon.
