We're a New York City based publisher and we're extremely excited to announce what we hope to be a new Campaign Setting for Pathfinder!
We specialize in fantasy and sci-fi gaming materials based in real-world history, realism, and the natural and social sciences. We are currently developing exclusively for the Pathfinder system and have just launched our fundraising Kickstarter (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/shadowlands/shadowlands-adventure-game -campaign-setting).
The fundraising is for the upcoming release of two books: Tarina Guidebook and The Gates of Tarina. These books represent the first products of the Shadowlands Campaign Setting and product line. Following the pattern of Pathfinder RPG’s default setting, Golarion, these first products detail only one small part of the Shadowlands world, with other regions to be the focus of future publications.
The launch of Shadowlands marks the climax of over 15 years of world-building. Designers include experts in physics, linguistics, military intelligence, sociology, philosophy, and other disciplines.
Industry writers on the project include Stephen DiPesa (White Wolf) and Jaye Sonia (Open Design, Kobold Quarterly). Also contributing are industry artists Ben Wootten (Wizards of the Coast), Jonathan Roberts (Fantastic Maps), Michael Arrington (Acacia Games), and lead artist Ambrose H. Hoilman.
