Posted background concept to the recruit thread. Just need to finish up my character sheet. I can still make an oWoD character from memory, but the nWoD stuff I still have to look up.
The biggest challenge in game for me will trying to maintain a certain level of morbidity. I'm just too cheerful sometimes.
My mage will be mental primary, social secondary and physical tertiary.
Couldn't find my main book before boardgame night but I will have a character finished and posted tonight.
No worries. I'm still getting myself together for this but also I'm moving to a new apt this weekend which is gonna disrupt things for me. I'm hoping to have something up soon just so people can start interacting IC but even then it will probably be dead this weekend with the move.

Here is my character. Working on the background, but the basics are that I am a paramedic. My major link to morality and humanity is Heather, (ghoul, lover, friend, Ally/Retainer, partner, and mentor in looking for Golconda/redemption).
I have minor Contacts with the local Conspiracy Theorists, both feeding them misinformation, partial truth, and feeding them real truth at times, as well. (Explain later).
I figure I could work for the group as a legit paramedic, act as both a medic and partially as a scientist, and things along those lines. Combat wise, I plan on using Earthmeld, and later other additions to ambush/trick others, and will be working towards Mist Form, (just because it is so dang awesome).
I really would like to work towards (even if it doesn't exist) Golconda, and a form of salvation from the damned.
People's sheets are looking good, some still in progress. Once your sheet is all set, I'll have a look and make sure I'm on the same page with everything.

Could you tell us a bit more about the company we work for. I am thinking that you are looking for a mixture between something like the X-Files (early) and Supernatural.
What does the company do outside the supernatural? What sort of normal business practices do they conduct. Would it be within reason for me and my retainer to, for example, "work" as paramedics for this company, or would it be better to maybe work for the city?

Beckett: as to your question, if you were to be paramedics you would want to work for the city. That being said, within the company they would certainly have many uses for someone who could help mend the cuts and scrapes encountered in the field. The jobs taken will be varied but think of Silverstar Solutions as a mix between a PI firm and a mercenary company. One day you could be hired by a regular normal human to help find his kidnapped daughter and bring the kidnappers to justice and then the next you could be contracted by a group vampires to help combat (possibly assassinate) a renegade mage who is destroying their turf. Then that could be followed up by being hired by the Boston Celtics to provide a security detail for a new player who's been receiving death threats. So a very eclectic company but as far as a full/part time paramedic, that would fall a little outside the realm of operations.

I'll be working on it more today. It's been a very busy few days complete with a trip to the ER, but everything's better now.

Well I've got 3 which is enough for me. I've got some stuff on my plate IRL so it might take a day or so. Basically look for the IC thread to be up by the end of the weekend and we'll see how it goes from there.
