Interesting character.
I tend to prefer starting a game at a lower power level in terms of ability scores and starting wealth. Would you have any interest in re crafting the character, or is your preference to keep it as-is? If so, set ability scores using the 15,14,13,12,10,8 array, and use the average starting gold for the class, or roll for starting treasure.
My other preference is to not run games for large crews, but to actually run one-and-one games, where the player is the main PC and gains NPC allies ove the course of the adventure. They would each have their own personalities, taking recommendations or orders from the main PC depending the level of trust between the two persons. Sort of like the Baldur's Gate games, but not having direct control over the allies. Make sense? I'm running Serpent's Skull this way here on the boards, and you may want to tale a look.
Are you involved in other RL or PBP games? Besides the one I am running here, I also play in a game once/week at my FLGS. I have thought about running Jade Regent in a similar style, but don't yet have my hands on it, so we'll see. My posting rate works out to be around once every 1.5 days. You can expect that I will let you know if something comes up that will interfere with posting, will do my best to create a good story, and provide you with a compelling reason to be the main character.
Let me know what you think.

Depending on attendance (minor stall due to everyone waiting on everyone else to say something), there may be a place for the character in this thread, but a headcount will have to be made once we smooth things out.

I think I have my own little recruiter bot :). Me'Mori may be correct about a slot in my game. However I'm not certain. I could even add another character with my crew of five, but I'd have to work you in. If you could lebel to 2 (they're just about to) and if you're built to specs (20 pt. Buy, 2 any traits, 1 campaign, average starting wealth (they've gotten very, very little treasure so far), and a personally crafted gm boon) I will see if I can work with you.

Hmm... it does very much so. I'm thinking simple for your first power.... Let me see...
Wisdom of the Ancients: By channeling her sight through the necklace she wears, a gift from her family, she can learn through the mistakes of others not to repeat them herself. This functions as an Augury and is usable 2/day.
Fit the theme? Forgive me if I'm stepping on your Mysteries toes, I'm not too boned up on the Oracle.

Sounds great, and now on to your introduction, it may take a day or two (or a week, who knows?) for the PCs to arrive at where I intend your introduction, but here's a simple summary.
I intend to have you been contacted regarding the professor's death, arriving slightly before the other PCs, but being attracted to Harrowstone after passing it on the road. The spirits within called to you, and you felt a strong need to check the grounds. As you went in you were quickly accosted by chanting cultists. After succumbing to Hold Person, Rhia was locked in one of the watchtowers and tortured lightly. She watched the cultists finish some sort of ritual involving the runes upon the foundation and leave with a vial of blue light. They were in such a hurry that they either forgot you were still there or did not care, assuming you would succumb to hunger, rats or the angry spirits in the prison.
