*This thread will contain spoilers for the entire AP. youve been warned!*
My party does not have any wizards, but does have an alchemist. If youve read the AP, you know that wizards are plentiful in it.
Obviously, some of the spells in a wizards book can be copied into a Alchemist's book, but I was thinking of converting some of the baddies to alchemists (probably just a few of them), so my alchemist player could get a little bit more out of the books.
So, does anyone have any suggestions on which bad guys to convert to alchemists? We are currently in book 3, and they just killed Mammy Graul, though she apparently doesnt have a book.
Do you think Barl Breakbones could be converted without it messing up the story? What about Mokmurian? Anyone else come to mind?

Anyone else come to mind?
Again, spoilers!
In my game, I changed the leader of the ogre demolitioners on Skull's Crossing to an alchemist, one using his bombs to move along the destruction of the dam. The displays of his work actually led to the party fighter spending his winter studying alchemy (and taking his first level in alchemist by the end).
Changing Barl Breakbones isn't much of a stretch (he was a magus in mine), but I think changing Mokmurian would interfere with the thematic connection he has to Karzoug. I could see adding in an alchemist to the raid on Sandpoint in Chapter 4, and possibly changing one or two of the NPCs in Sins of the Saviors, particularly in Runeforge, to a alchemist. Unfortunately, his name escapes me, but the clone wizard could be an alchemist, deriving his cloning ability from the use of runic alchemy (now that I think about it, I might actually make that change myself). Using the archetypes from Ultimate Magic can also give each alchemist a nice distinction.
Hope that helps.

I like the leader of the destruction crew idea. I may have to implement that one myself.
I decided to change Barl from a necromancer to an oracle of bones. I think it keeps the same theme for how he plays in combat, and I wont have to change much about his backstory (not that the PCs will ask about his backstory, but still).
If by 'the clone' you mean the Scribbler (havent read the book yet, so Im unsure), then I dont know what Im going to do with him yet. Erylium (the quasit from book 1) is still around, and ive made her a Summoner, with her Eidolon looking eerily like her old master (who is supposed to be the Scribbler, I think), though she is going to be encountered sometime during the retaking of Fort Rannick, and likely wont live through the experience.
Thanks for the suggestions!
