Far be it from me to put forth an opinion that might inhibit the usefulness of our cleric, but I agree with Zyren on the Channel Energy bit. Playing a Life oracle in another game, I have found it to be very challenging (in a good way) to manage my resources and decide what I want to do and when.
Just my $.02

Aerys Trajyon |

I will, if nobody has a problem with it.
No problem here - I can see trying to smuggle a body thru town back to the Restlands getting all kinds of ugly. Only to have them do the same thing tomorrow night.
I would assume best thing now is for Aerys, Venedictos & Viktor to go back to taking 20 in the library?

I apologise for my lack of posts lately. I'm overburdened with real life currently, am will be very stressed until next Saturday. I won't be able to drive the plot forward on my own accord as a consequence - while I will do my best to react to your actions, I ask that you try to drive the in-character days forward with character interaction.
I apologise for the inconvenience.

DM Patcher || Carrion Crown |

Building on my previous post, I am rather incapacitated.
Could you confirm to me what your in-game actions for today will be? So far, I have the impression of:
Viktor: Research.
Venedictos: Research.
Aerys: Research.
Torsten: Tend to the house and Kendra.
Valerya: ???
If you could confirm this for me I will progress the day when I find time.
Once again, I'm sorry.

Venedictos |

Research, yes.
Patcher, I don't think there's really any need with us to put so much emphasis on a fast pace. We're all pretty easy going, and if you need to take a few days, nobody here is complaining. This is a game, after all, not a chore. I just feel sometimes that you're making things hard on yourself worrying that we're going to up and leave if the posting pace flags.
It's all good. No worries. C'est la vie! Etc..

Valerya Dragonsbreath |

Yeah, Valerya will try to craft that trap, and will take some breaks to try and talk to Kendra.

Torsten Olæsson |

Torsten completes Step C:
+4 skill ranks, +1 skill rank (human);
+1 rank to Intimidate (from +9 to +10)
+1 rank to Perception (from +4 to +5)
+1 rank to Climb (from +6 to +7*)
+1 Rank to Acrobatics (from +4 to +5*)
+1 Rank to Swim (from +6 to +7*)
*Adjusted for AC Penalty

Suggestions for equiping ourselves for our little excursion:
All arrows divided up between torsten, val & viktor - whoever has a bow & is proficient
Holy water - Val - she prolly has best ranged attack for a splash weapon
potions/scrolls - lesser restoration, detect undead, hide from undead, - Venedictos. Possibly haunt siphons as well, as he prolly has a better understanding of undead than the rest of us?
scroll of protection from evil - Viktor (is that on the Magus spell list?)
Aerys can carry sunrods, haunt siphons if ven doesn't wish to, & the spirit planchette - while i see no good coming out of trying to use that in harrowstone, in the unlikely chance of us actually needing to risk conversing with the residents, it's best to have it with us.
We each take a potion of cure light for emergencies
Thoughts?
edit - sorry venedictos - you must have posted while i was typing all this. Should valerya take the siphons?

Venedictos |

Patcher, I was playing around with Venedictos' profile, adding some fun formatting, when I realized that I had automatically added the spells for his bard level from the failed Age of Worms version of this character, which includes inspirational boost, a Spells Compendium spell that adds +1 to his bardic performance. Is that okay, or would you prefer we stick to Pathfinder spells?

Venedictos |

inspirational boost switched for chord of shards

This place looks enormous. I assume the manor house is the structure to the left of the path going in - do we want to start looking there? On the plus side, if the fire was in the prison itself, I would assume no one actually perished in the manor house, possibly making it relatively less... haunted.

I wish to apologise for my lacklustre participation the last two weeks - which does not help since I'm supposed to be the DM.
I am physically not doing very well and am perpetually exhausted. I am mentally stressed. I don't know when this will subside. I want to be more active but I have a lot of commitments IRL as well: studies, pets, ect. .
Having said that, I will try to participate more. You deserve that.
@Aerys: Yes, Harrowstone is enormous. The Carrion Crown book has dedicated 27 pages to the place.

I'm not going to be posting for a while. My father died last night, and I'm going to be going out of town for a while to get all of the preparations done, as well as the funeral. I'm not entirely sure how long it's going to be before I'm able to post again, as I won't have regular access to a computer. Sorry for the inconvenience. If you feel the need to drop me due to lagging story or whatever, do so. I would much rather, however, be NPCd.
