Is there any other TARDIS?
I hate plenty of trick or treaters, they'd wiped me out before the sun was even down. Then, when my brother and his family came by we took our kids out only to find the majority of the lights were out and some people just weren't answering their doors. I was game to go to another area, but my 1 year-old niece wasn't having it, 3 year-old nephew was crying because he didn't want to be made to hold his dad's hand as we walked and my almost 4 year-old daughter was trying to rip my arm out of socket and wanted to run the whole way. Super Girl indeed. So, in reality, I gave away far more candy then our 3 kids together brought in.

Doctor Who tardis?
Yup. The costume began as a large cardboard box. Her head came up through where the light normally is and he arms came out through a couple of windows. The whole thing was hand painted a lovely blue and the detail work was excellent, right down to the instructions for using the phone.
I would have taken a picture but single men photographing young girls is something that is simply not done.

I just moved into my neighborhood and my neighbors warned me that our neighborhood goes crazy. I sat on the porch for about three hours and gave out a TON of candy and still had some left. Parents were carpooling in kids because our neighborhood has such a good reputation.
Having experienced it, now I can plan for next year. I have a big porch with a railing that will be converted to the deck of a pirate ship.

Bah - PC sucks - I went to the school voted most PC in the country several years I was there, it sucked. A friend of mine, who was hispanic, and I thought it would be fun to form a club called the Arian Alliance just to piss people off.
Oh yeh, and I just cast Sleep on Harry, decided he needed a nap.

It only affects 4HD - if I center it on him, he is the full 4 HD, it should never affect you based on the wording of the spell.

Not if he makes his save. :P

My reading is that the save negates the affect, thus wasting that portion of the spell. If you interpret a save as not being included in the 4HD effect, I will have to remember that in your campaign.

Yeah around 4 pages, it's not that hard of an assignment (even though it's worth 10% of my overall grade) but it's now overdue and my professor is not fond of accepting overdue work. I'm special though, and can get away with the occasional trespass on his "no late assignment" rules because I never do less than 'B' quality work, usually 'A' quality work and he get's tired of the slackers in the class who do just enough to get a 'C'.

Universities in the US and Germany seem to work totally different (at least until recently, they now begin to change a lot). Here none of your courses count for your final grade, you just have to pass. In the end your final grade is entirely based on your final exams.
However, you have write hundreds of pages of papers before you ever get there :)

That is the difference between the US and Europe. In the US it is all about right an wrong, a vs. b, up or down. In Europe its all about why.
Take American Football vs. European Football (soccer).
American football we have a rule for everything. The quarterback cannot catch the ball unless he is initially lined up in the backfield. The lineman cannot be the first person to touch a pass, etc. etc. etc. Different rules for each player and each position. Different rule for offense and defense. And it is all black or white.
European football really only has a few rules. 1) Don't touch the ball with your hands unless you are the goalie within the 16 meter box. 2) No offsides. 3) Don't beat the crap out of other players. That is pretty much it. Everything else is up to the ref - how much contact is allowed, whether to let players play rough, when to call a foul. It is all a grey area.
Education and law are the same way. In the US if you kill someone, there are about a dozen different crimes - 1st Degree, 2nd Degree, 3rd Degee, Capital Murder, Reckless Homicide, Negligent Homicide, and so forth, each with different levels of proof and required penalties. My understanding in Europe is that it is just murder and the judge has a ton of leeway as to whether the penalty is a slap on the wrist or 20 years.

Zyren Zemerys |

In Germany you have:
1. Mord aus niederen Motiven (eg. murder out of reasons like greed, rape followed by murder, murder to cover other crimes etc.)
2. Totschlag (murder without planning, e.g. in a sudden outburst of wrath and without benefits for you)
3. Fahrlässige Tötung (like if you are a mechanic and you forget to control the brakes of a cair that you have in your garage, which later leads to the death of the driver.)
That's it and the degree of penalty goes from about 2 years to forever.

I've had some classes do things similar to that, then others who only grade you on the chapter exams (or unit if they group the chapters into units) of which there are a million of, mid-term exam and final exam. Other classes who put more emphasis on the assignments, and then still others like this one, where there are no tests at all. This class is comprised of 7 modules, each module has us read 2-3 chapters and then do a 1500 word minimum summary. Each summary is worth 10% of my final grade, the other 30% comes from a critique that is over a second textbook and it is due at the end of the semester.

Only if there's a terrier or other small dog in shark costume inside.
HA HA! I will have a shark suit for my terrier mix (she is quite the barker). But my heeler mix wants to be a butterfly unless I can convince her a parrot is pretty close.

I shudder every time I hear the words 'deep freezer'
But only because a guy I briefly worked with once told me that he was keeping his dead dog in his deep freezer until the ground thawed out enough to dig a grave...but he told me this in August...8 months after the poor things death.
