Some people like Prestige Classes, some people do not like Prestige Classes. Since we are free to use the pages we like from the manuals, I am not in any way morally, physically, mentally, or spiritually troubled by there being Prestige Classes, my personal preferences regarding them notwithstanding.

I would tend to disagree. You say some people like prestige classes? Well, I'll have you know that some people do not. Also, you say that some people do not like prestige classes but you need be informed that in fact, some people do like them.
Your post is ill-conceived and poorly executed, and lacking in mentions of llamas - which is unforgivable - and isn't nearly as silly as mine. Still, no matter how silly we get, it won't come near as silly as the threads you're alluding to. Sigh.

I am sure the mod hammer will come down at some point, but honestly, I am loving these ridiculous threads.

I disagree, thus making your point incorrect, which by result makes mine correct, thereby supporting my claim of your incorrectness: Some people like Prestige Classes, but some people do not not like them, while there are some who do not like them, but do not not not like them.
I'm clearly in the moral high ground. And that is a +2 to my argument roll.

I clearly made made an implied mention to llamas. See how my post starts with "Some"? It should be evident.

I am morally opposed to the connotation of both prestige classes and base classes. The simple fact is that the class system has no right to enforce a...class system. The implication that an Eldritch knight is more prestigious then a paladin is nonsense. And to imply that the fighter is of a baser nature, simply because the duelist meets 'prerequisits' to enter it's fancy shmancy prestige class is prejudice at it's worst.
I formally object to the high and mighty attitude of prestige classes and their ilk!

I find your post in ill-taste. Do you find acceptible that we do not take into account the feelings of the mistreated Shocker Lizards? No one stops to think if they like or dislike prestige classes as most people are to concerned with whether or not some llama likes PrCs.
I, for one, will not stand for it anymore and demand equal rights to PrCs for Shocker Lizards!

So, the people in the thread for people who have no opinion about prestige classes - You don't have an opinion about their lack of an opinion? You said you have an opinion about the opinions of those who have opinions. You didn't say you have an opinion about the lack of opinion of people who lack an opinion.
Good to know I'm safe, here, since I'm firmly in the "I have no opinion" crowd.

No opinion is an opinion! Just like black is a color!

This sentence claims to reveal new information while actually doing nothing of the sort. This sentence, using a needlessly complicated and pointlessly obtuse structure, which ultimately detracts from anyone's attempt to comprehend it, attempts to establish my superiority over other posters through utilization of supererogatory obfuscatory language.
This entire paragraph is completely superfluous, in addition to being excessively long-winded, convoluted, completely devoid of reasoning, filled with spurious accusations against other posters' mothers, and should under ideal circumstances be removed by a moderator.
This sentence indicates the point where my creative juices ran out, thus ending the post earlier than I might have lik

You've never seen me before, but I have such a strong opinion about this subject that I'm going to come in, demonstrate my total lack of system mastery by saying something off base that has already been refuted upstream, then proceed to defend every single little thing I said because I know better than all of you.

I'll respond to all y'all (the plural of y'all) by telling you that any powerful character is incapable of being role-played effectively, lecturing you on the overwhelming power of wizards in relation to all other classes (especially paladins because they are unplayable with the honor code as it is), mathematically proving how much monks suck, spelling rogue as a type of make-up, building a character specifically to get back at my evil GM, calling you a munchkin if you play anything but low-magic campaigns, lambasting you about how lame it is to play characters that are purposefully gimped, and threatening to stop playing pathfinder if the game isn't errata'd to fit my exact idea of the game.
I'll do all of this while throwing around high school debate team terms such as fallacy, strawman, and ad xxxxx.
If you're lucky, I'll respond to any rebuttals you might have with 1-4 snarky words, a total lack of respect, and an equally impressive lack of knowledge.
