Savage Tide (updated to Pathfinder WITH a bootlegged Demogorgon); Human Inquisitor of War/Gorum patterned off of Scarlet from Neil Gaiman's "Good Omens" just because it'd be fun to gender bend a bit with a chick who could dish out the pain, and leave enough room for some roleplay.
Curse of the Crimson Throne (updated to Pathfinder); Human Cleric sort of like Father Imperius from Ladyhawk (ie crotchety old fart trying to make things right).
Legacy of Fire (updated); Suli Wizard from Qadira with a personality sort of like Ra's al Ghul from Batman.

Curse of the Crimson Throne:
A critical hit build. The character would be a victim to amnesia and would be in the city trying to find out about his past.
or
An urban ranger or a rogue based on Han Solo.Kingmaker
Cavalier, with the RPG superstar Houndmaster archetype.
an urban ranger based on han solo???
hmmm, curious.

Serpent's Skull, stormborn sorcerer instead of a tengu cleric of Gozreh with a rogue's backstory. Don't know WHAT I was thinking with that one.
I know its a module, but Crypt of the Everlame as an oracle of nature instead of an oracle of flame.
You mean you'd actually want to play serpent's skull again??
Did you finish it yet?

Nope, died in book 3 due to inexperience with high level adventuring and some very bad decisions.

Maybe not exactly like Han Solo. But a scoundrel adventurer who is moving through life looking for the next big payday. He is also in debt with a crime boss of some sort. He of course joins the group at first to get back at Gadrian for an injustice, but only sticks with them when the gold start flowing for their deeds.
He would also be a womanizer of sorts, but far too into himself for his own good.
He is still a good guy at heart though, and is dependable when crap hits the fan.

No I was curious if anyone finished it and how did it go? Someone who said they wanted to play it again would have some insight on WHY and what would work better.
We are still in the tail end of book three. Hate the AP, but we really don't want to leave our characters, which are really good ones and at a decent point in their adventuring career (levels) A gunslinger and a Magus and a witch that are all fun (the ranger and the ronin are a bit boring).
Just thought someone who had finished it and wanted to play a different character would say WHY.
We had a TPK in Legacy of fire and never finished that one either. Got bored in Kingmaker (no one wanted to make a kingdom and entire sessions were eaten up by doing so) and we had a TPK in Council of theives (in the asmodean knot)
So we haven't finished an AP since Second Darkness.
Legacy of Fire might be a fun one to do again. Things like Inquisitor, Cavalier and Magus or witch would be really interesting to try in that AP, as they didn't exist at the time.
An it just occurred to me that an 'Arabian' themed gunslinger would be both hilarious and curious to see.
Inquisitor definitely seems like it would fit really well.
I played a Monk/rogue in Legacy of fire and it was really bleh, Id never do that again. I'd hate to say this but I think the new ninja is more where I was trying to go with the character. The Monk/rogue was frustrating to play. It was kind of like trying to play a cleric/wizard going for mystic theurge...."Ill be really cool when I get high enough levels, but right now I can almost do something"
We have tried a mystic theurge also in almost every AP we've played, and they come so close to being cool before they die!
Out of all the APs (that we've played starting with second darkness) I might Id like another crack at Legacy with a themed party.
We had a Paladin, Monk/rogue, something else that kept dying and changing all the time, but started out as a half elf ranger rogue trying to dual wield xbows while riding some strange mount....
Alas, they weren't "arabic" adventurers.
Zealous Inquisitor, Crazed turban wearing gunslinger??, Maybe a decent themed fighter or barbarian, and a magus or witch would make a decent group for Legacy of fire for go around #2.
Just don't know if I could bear pugwampis again, in order to get to the good stuff. Maybe I can find a merciful GM that will turn them into kobolds or goblins!

Curse of the Crimson Throne
Spymaster (Rogue)
Played...
*Highly recommend Race/Culture: SHOANTI, lots of RP potential.
Also Rangers seem to do well in this AP, Paladins would likely do well also.

I never had RotRL or CoCT. So to me the best 'redo-able' APs are second darkness and Legacy of fire.
I didn't care for council of thieves (although parts of it were cool and seems like it was two different APs/storylines in one AP)
Kingmaker was.... i guess too sandboxy
Serpent's Skull? well I guess I could do better making it up as I go along (although the shiv part was a blast, fell apart after that)
Legacy of Fire just has all the classic and epic elements in it, the 'aladin' feel with traveling to the city of brass! too cool.

Rise of the Runelords
I'd probably make a Bard, maybe an archivist... probably go with dwarf, just to make it more interesting.
Currently playing a Dwarven Paladin in RotRL, made of awesome! If I were to play it again, it would definitely be another Dwarf, probably a Cleric or Ranger.

Right now, as a player at least, most of my gaming is online
I'm currently in a Kingmaker with a Cleric of Shelyn, we'll see if it goes all the way. If I ever get a chance again, I'll definitely try out a Cavalier. It's been said this is one of the better paths for them.
Also in a Second Darkness with an Ulfen Barbarian, he's been loads of fun and I'm pretty happy with him. I just hope he doesn't get his reckless neck caught off. If I was in a different one I'm not sure what I'd go with.
The gnome thief I'm trying out in Skull and Shackles has only one problem,
Others I have not played...
Serpent Skull- Sounds roomy, another candidate for Cavalier. On the other hand, a cleric of Cayden Cailean because it might be fun to stand up for the locales.
Curse of the Crimson Throne- A half orc wizard abjurer
Council of Thieves- A very frustrated paladin who hates what Cheliax has become.
Howl of the Carrion King- Visiting Dwarf Cleric of Torag. Mind you, I'm not always into Horror, but if I gave it a chance that's what I might try.
Jade Regent- I'm not big on the Asian themes, but I might try to broaden my horizons. With that in mind, maybe a bard. Carrying one culture to another and maybe having a chance of NOT offending the various lands he travels through.
Rise of the Runelords- A rogue who was a black sheep of sandpoint sounds like it could be fun.
Legacy of Fire- Ranger (Guide Archetype) going the Archer path. Another option might be a Blue Dragon blood line sorcerer

Jade Regent, decided to let one of our friends DM who as far as anyone knows has never done so before and unfortunately the whole thing turned into more NPC theater then the actual players being able to really do anything.
If I could restart it I think I'd still run my half-elf Wizard with the wood school as I really enjoyed playing him quite a bit. Although I might make him a full elf this time around, if not something cool from the ARG
Did play RotRL a while back, don't know if I'd bother playing threw it again though, had quite a bit of fun playing a rogue through the whole mess.
Currently running CotCT an can look back an definitely see things I would have done different but still having good fun with it though.

I think I'll second Jade Regent. I was in that same campaign as Forge, and would like to play through that one again, though this time, I would probably go Arcane Duelist or Samurai the next time around.
Ran that RotRL that Forge talked about. I would have done many a thing differently, but am happy for the most part the way it turned out.
Running through his CotCT campaign and would have changed the build of my character a little, (probably more monk and less brawler) but for the most part would play the same character.
Haven't played any other APs yet, though am looking forward to Shattered Star.

Shackled City - Paladin
In fact that AP ended in a TPK around 13th level. I'm currently playing a paladin in Council of Thieves. If we survive, the Shackled City will be placed somewhere in southern Golarion.
Normally I'm the DM, but out of games that I've run I'd play . . .
Rise of the Runelords - Wizard, Conjuration Specialist, Varisian Scholar type
Second Darkness - Fighter, Archer Archetype, mercenary type persona
Legacy of Fire - Ranger, Switch Hitter build, Falchion wielding desert wanderer

Serpent's Skull Campaign: It is a jungle-based campaign. Anything that is at home in the outdoors is at home in this campaing.
We just finished book 4, moving on to book 5 after our Curse of the Crimson Throne hiatus. I play a Barbarian/Oracle with a cohort Barbarian/Druid. Our Cleric/Wizard in the party is a distant relative to the Azlanti and is obsessed with their culture. We are all very very at home in this campaign.
Don't play anything that wears heavier than medium armor. Don't play anything 'urban', you won't have anywhere to shine.
Crimson Throne: Cleric or Paladin.
Rise of the Runelords: I think the paizo folks did an awesome job with the new player's guide so I won't try my part at that. Read the new guide.

for carrion crown i'd be an inquisitor (vampire hunter archetype, maybe take weapon focus with wooden stakes).
i already have my character for kingmaker made, a halfling cavalier named Zapp Bramblethorn (maybe some day he'll be a general) i even gave him crappy wisdom and intelligence but high charisma. now i just need someone else to GM it......

You clearly need a Grippli side-kick named Kif.

For Curse of the Crimson Throne (so awesome I've given serious thought to rounding up the old group for a do-over), instead of my previous build (an irritable cleric of Pharasma/fighter multiclass) I'd go for a Zorro-esque Rogue/Urban Ranger hybrid.
