Oleg takes the coins from Nefi It will take some time but this will be enough for me to order the lab for you. It seems that I can trust to extend you all some credit I will have to work up what I can afford in inventory to make it easier for you all to exchange items you find for useful gear. Let me think on it for a bit and I will have something for you all to look at before you have to leave.

"That's great! I'll settle for the portable lab until I get five hundred gold peices for a proper lab." with this she smiles and appears to eagerly await her portable lab, looking over her current checmicals. "If you guys want to put money my way, I can craft us potions of cure light wounds." she has her alchemy set all out for the moment, though she doesn't have a lab yet to help her skills.
"It'll take me two hours and only cost 50gp for materials that I'm sure Oleg might have as his disposal." her eyes glisten as she looks over her potions and searching around to see if Oleg has the materials available, smiling up at him hopefully.

I'll be official charter carrier. Also I am kind of new to "role playing" so I kind of don't know what to say.
Observing all of this while drinking some ale I decide to speak up.
It all sound good to me. As my mother said “I see my path, but I don't know where it leads. Not knowing where I'm going is what inspires me to travel it.”

Probably will sound like something from writing class or drama club but here's a few things I can think of. Try to imagine yourself as the character. What interests you? Does the half-orc wizard scare your character or is he so used around half-orcs that they generally aren't intimidating? What do you smell when you put yourself in his shoes. What do you hear and how do you feel about planning this attack on the bandits? Is it justice or should they be put on a trail? I usually have the alignment hand-in-hand with personality. I'm still trying to find my place with Nefi, attempting to gauge her personality and interest in the affairs of the stolen lands.

I'll have to disagree a little with Nefi. Do not think of yourself as a character but rather think your character as being in a adventure film. Then try to imagine how the character would react yo any situation. Then translate it into words . "
We already have 2 healing potions. A third would not go amiss and since the day is already advanced , leaving tomorrow morning would make sense. If I might interject something here , I quite understand one want to improve his own equipment but it would make sense to leave 50% of our earnings in a communal pot for items potentially helpful to any of us. And to begin with here is my 35gp.
Nefi Lalagos
I agree, also a good way at looking at it Simon. I guess it works differently depending on the person.
"I'd love to have a nice warm meal after all this travelling." she smiles softly as she looks over the group and makes sure to have everything prepared and out of the way. Last thing she wants is for her mutagen to accidently spill in someone's lunch.
Also, DM is there any sculptures of sometype? I'd like Nefi to have some kind of interest and justification into why she takes the skill besides simply to make constructs, though that could be a good enough reason.

Krebak looks askance at Simon.
"Wait, I get a bagful of coin just for showing up and you want to take half of it away? 'Communal pot?' And just how do we decide who gets to dip into it? Sounds a little fishy to me."
Nefi Lalagos
I could use a little some thing.
Pulls out a chair and sits by Nefi.
So do you brew potions or other things...?
As he ask the question a smirk comes across his face.
"Potions, acid and other things but what else were you thinking of?" she asks curiously tilting her head to one side as she does quite get the subtle suggestion
At the mention of money
"Oh...I've already spent most of it for Oleg to get me a portable lab. I could pay back by making potions of cure light wounds, shield and identify." she smiles as she loves the idea of being helpful.
The creator of a potion needs a level working surface and at least a few containers in which to mix liquids, as well as a source of heat to boil the brew. In addition, he needs ingredients. The costs for materials and ingredients are subsumed in the cost for brewing the potion: 25 gp × the level of the spell × the level of the caster.
All ingredients and materials used to brew a potion must be fresh and unused. The character must pay the full cost for brewing each potion. (Economies of scale do not apply.)
The imbiber of the potion is both the caster and the target. Spells with a range of personal cannot be made into potions.
The creator must have prepared the spell to be placed in the potion (or must know the spell, in the case of a sorcerer or bard) and must provide any material component or focus the spell requires.
Material components are consumed when he begins working, but a focus is not. (A focus used in brewing a potion can be reused.) The act of brewing triggers the prepared spell, making it unavailable for casting until the character has rested and regained spells. (That is, that spell slot is expended from the caster's currently prepared spells, just as if it had been cast.) Brewing a potion requires 1 day.
But it says under Brew Potion feat which I gain for free:
Benefit: You can create a potion of any 3rd-level or lower spell that you know and that targets one or more creatures. Brewing a potion takes 2 hours if its base price is 250 gp or less, otherwise brewing a potion takes 1 day for each 1,000 gp in its base price. When you create a potion, you set the caster level, which must be sufficient to cast the spell in question and no higher than your own level. To brew a potion, you must use up raw materials costing one half this base price.
When you create a potion, you make any choices that you would normally make when casting the spell. Whoever drinks the potion is the target of the spell.
I assume I'm right in that it takes 2 hours to brew the potion as per the description under the feat as it's bas price is 50 gp.

I can think of a couple of sculptures that pop up in the campaign Nefi but I can certainly see your character trying to start to sculpt without a set campaign connection. Her knowledge of alchemy would provide her insights into making clays and the process necessary to harden them. The only thing you would lack is the skill at working the clay and that is something that comes with time and practice. An admiration for worked clay and stone would be all that was needed after that.
Svetlana calls to the group over for dinner.
Not that I wish to get in the middle things but a previous group I gamed with would split loot as if their was one extra person and that became the group fund. just thought I would throw that out there and see if it helps. Also if you are going to do a group fund it might be a good idea to choose a treasurer. When everyone is ready to go out and explore let me know.
Narrater
Svetlana passes out bowls of ham and cabbage and mugs of ale. The bowls that are passed out are full with large chunks of ham good sized pieces of cabbage quartered sections of carrots and whole pieces of potatoes and every one gets their own half loaf. Even the bandit prisoners are given a decent portion. The meal would likely cost half a gold at an Inn and Svetlana has seconds ready for those that want it. The permanent residents all seem to be in high spirits from the excellent meal. Svetlana speaks up towards the end of the meal. I hope everyone enjoyed the meal it was in thanks to our rescuers and the Swordlords who have blessed us twice. The first time by sending these brave men and woman to explore these lands and the second time by sending us supplies enough to keep you well fed when you are weary from exploring. You are always welcome in our home. Talk turns more serious after the impromptu toast. Svetlana tells Simon Let me know your needs for traveling rations. The Swordlords sent us some food supplies that are to support your exploration and the soldiers defending the fort. I can provide enough for a weeks travel for all 6 of you right now. In another several days I can work in the time to prepare more travel cakes and packages of rations. As long as I have a day or two warning I should be able to prepare about a weeks worth of rations for you all During the conversation Svetlana whispers to Simon when she sees that Oleg is deep in talk with Keston. I need to talk to you but I don't want Oleg to know. It is really important. If you offer to clear the dishes after supper we could talk in private for a moment.

Felicitation to your wife ! You'll now be able to post at night even if you'll have to type one handed ...
Keep your silver and copper , my friends
Simon will turn to Svletana
I guess having one week ration prepared in a week time would be a good idea. Let me and Pavel check what you have prepared now we have finished eating
Krebak
Congratulations on the birth of your son! May he be happy and healthy.
Krebak quickly and mechanically shovels spoonfuls of food into his mouth, spending no time on conversation. The only time he pauses is when a pink, twitching nose peeks out from under his collar and hood. Then he takes a small bit of ham or a piece of potato, places it between his lips, and offers it up to his rat, who snatches it from his mouth and retreats back under the wizard's robes to eat.

Hey sorry guys I would've replied but I thought there was a problem with the site. It appears that once again firefox wasn't loading any webpages on paizo so I was stuck with a blank screen and now the kids are here, gah. Anyway I'll get to everyone soon and save this explaination on note pad to tell everyone else. Again, I apologise for the slow reply.
Also, congrats on the bouncing baby boy. I wish you luck that he's a quiet one ;)
Nefi makes sure to eat her meal, but she eats with slowly and taking her time to look over all the peices that she then eats. She appears quite happy and enjoying the meal, but seems to study it too as it appears to interest her for some reason.
"Thank you for this meal, Svetlana. It's great." she calls over to her with a smile of appreciation.
Narrater
Svetlana leads Pavel and Simon to the kitchen and shows them wandermeal cakes along with fruits and dried meats among other items wrapped in cheese cloth and tied with string. The rations certainly seem to have a personal touch not found in most rations. Svetlana speaks to you both normally while watching the door. I would appreciate if you would save the cloth and string so I can use them again Watching the door closely as she says in a rushed whisper. Poor Oleg has been in such a terrible state since the bandits started raiding us and I am sure that their presences here is taking its own kind of toll on him. I want so bad to make him feel more like himself, I hope making his favorite meal will help snap him out of it. The only problem is that I am missing the key ingredient Moon Radishes. There was a patch of them about a day travel to the south but I am not sure if they are still there. You don't have to make a special trip or anything for them but if you come upon them while you explore I would truly be grateful. I have some money I could give you for your trouble.

...and im back! Mom and baby are doing well. Everything went really smoothly. Thank you for all the well wishes! Oh and Pavel...AWESOME PICTURE OF FINNEOUS AND SKYROSE I absolutely love it. Finneous watches the interactions with interest. When the subject of Moon Radishes comes up he jumps into a lengthy lecture on the nature, identification, cultivation, and proper cooking techniques of Moon Radishes. He will keep going until someone stops him going on about the different varieties at length.
Narrater
Finneous this is a private conversation between Simon, Pavel and Svetlana your character would not be able to follow it at this point. I should have probable placed it in a spoiler my mistake. You are welcome to follow it as a player though.
Still eyeballing the door Svetlana answers Simon's question. The radishes look very similar to any other while it is in the ground. The same leafy top but when you pull them from the ground you find they are as white as a full moon with the shape of a fat carrot. They have a sweeter taste then a normal radish they are very good and make a excellent soup. Thank you for doing this for me and Oleg

I am assuming you are moving to the east hex than. In the future please inform me when you are ready to move on so we can avoid these awkward silences. The next day the group wakes and gets an early start on their expedition into the wilds. With Svetlana providing a warm porridge with fruit bits to flavor the normally bland breakfast. As your leaving Oleg comes up to see you off. I was working on my finances and I can offer each of you a line of credit of 50 gp in items I carry in about a week after I have traded the furs and pieces you brought in to peddlers in Restov. It will also give me a oppurtunity to improve my current stock. We will be able to keep you supplied with what you need when you come back. Good hunting out there.
The hilly country continues as you travel in a south easterly direction until sufficiently far from the fort to begin charting.
I need at least one survival check for the day from the individual acting as guide others helping to keep the group on point can use aid other action to support this check, acting as guide and or helper will take up most of your time so it will limit your ability to perform side activities such as item creation in the field as a example. If you wish to forage to extend rations as you move this will double travel time and require a survival check.
I also need current form of travel from everyone so I can determine speed of movement for the group and exploration time per hex. I ask because there are several horses that where captured from the bandits and I was not certain if they where being utilized.
I would like a current ration count select one person to keep count and they will keep track of current water/rations for the party per day the current count should be 42 rations or 1 week for 6 people unless people wish to add the personal rations on their character to this count. Individual rations can be kept on character sheets and assumed to be a emergency supply. Currently I will assume that their is water enough to go with the rations and they well remain equal unless circumstance dictates otherwise ie food stolen water bags punctured during a fight etc. That should about cover it.
Nefi Lalagos
That's two characters in the same AP that I don't have any points in survival, but will have to take some next level.
Nefi will try to assist Pravel DC 10 to assist
1d20 + 0 ⇒ (12) + 0 = 12 That's a +2 to Pravel's check.
Nefi remains close to Pravel, looking about the wilderness and wanting to help out however she was also hoping to find interesting unique plants and fungi that she could possibly stock up on to experiment with or even make poisons with.
Anyone want to either pay or ask Nefi to have her create a few poisons I'm sure she'd accept, though without poison use you'll have to still make a reflex save on a contact poison to have it dipped in your blade without infecting you.
Finneous Higgenbottom
Finneous will take to the air on Skyrose providing aerial reconnaissance and also to help with charting and map making. Most of my camping gear will be on the horses to save weight if that is amenable to everyone while I keep the bombs and weapons and such. I am keeping three vials each of alchemist fire and acid, my weapons, armor and shield, signal whistle, and waterskin. Everything else can go on the horses, again if no one has issue with that.

So we'll have 35 total days of rations after the first day of exploring. I believe Sigurd left us his Mighty Composite Longbow for a +2 str bonus. Can anyone else make use of that?
Having a quick glance at profiles I think Simon is the only other person who can use it. Handy against flying foes, but if no one else wants it and you don't want it Pavel we could claim it as party loot and use it either for money or trade.
Narrater
With the good time made with the horses the sun is high in the sky when you begin exploration of the area east of Oleg's. You are able to push through and complete your exploration of a sizable portion of the hilly country but it is well into the warm spring evening with the last bit of light fading from the sky before you can claim a reasonable completion of your work done. The next day begins another long day when near noon you're continued exploration leads to the discovery of a crude wood hut with odd smells emanating from around the building and green hued smoke rolling from the chimney. As the group approaches the door creaks open on rusting mismatched hinges to reveal a man holding a wand. He uses the door to the hut as cover presenting only part of his body as a easy target while leveling the wand at the group. With a voice that is sharp and nasally he calls out to you Stop. Stop. Stop right their. I didn't invite you. So what do you want. Speak quick. Or I will use my wand.
Narrater
I'm Bokken. You want something? Bokken emphasizes the word "you" by pointing his wand at Pavel. If not go away. Bokken shifts the aim of his wand to Krebak. Don't insult me. I ain't no wizard. Hedge or otherwise. Bokken looks towards Nefi as she giggles at krebak's comment before shifting back to Pavel. Are we doing business. Or are you wasting my time.
