Hopping out from his cover, Sigurd knocks an arrow and draws his bowstring to his cheek.
"Remember the wind, lad," comes his quiet admonishment as he looks down the shaft. "And don't rush the shot..." After taking in a deep breath, he exhales sharply as he releases the string, the arrow sailing through the air with a low whistle.

Pavel draws back his bow and lets loose an arrow it misses wide of its mark rustling leafs in its passing. Sigurd following the example of his companion draws back his bow and also fires at the sentry his arrow finds the mark striking a harsh blow to the mans bowels he clutches at his belly as Pavel's second arrow pierces the man in the throat; any call of warning he may have made certainly ending at the point of the deadly missile. The man disappears from your immediate view as he doubles over leaving him obscured by the foliage of the tree in front of the stand.

Could everyone indicate where they intend to be on the board within the next round using the view of the camp provided. give me the specific coordinates. I believe that there is a current misunderstanding as to where you started on the board Pavel you where at about E or F 16 when you took your shots at the bandits that would go the same for Sigurd. Go from there and make a round worth of movement. A Full round of movement will leave Jonas and Simon at the north edge of this map on the trail. My apologies if that was not clear before. If you wish to move into the blackened area let me know and give your best estimate as to where you wish to be and I will play it by ear.

Narrater |

That being the case please as best you can tell me your intent Sigurd and I will try to move your character to a position that is optimal as it stands keeping with Pavel isn't a bad idea at this point. depending on how it is being blocked you can try to look up the campaign site under the Narater alias and root through library and DM tools find one of the bandit camp maps. Finally I could try to email it to you. Let me know what works best for you Sigurd.

Sigurd Mjornson |

"I'll try to move in from a different angle," Sigurd whispers as he slinks down the river. "Once I'm in position, I'll fire an arrow from hiding - that's sure to get their attention. Once they're eyes are on the trees, move in and hit them in back."
Dropping into a crouch, he begins to move along the riverbed, looking for a place away from the light of the bandits' campfire where he can ford the stream.
Sigurd tries to find a place to ford the stream, then will get sneak into a flanking position, so that while the rest of the party hits them from the front (or back), Sigurd can fire from the sides.

"That's acceptable, my good captain. I'll begin my preparations immediately, and get an early start on my rest. It's been a long trip, I would wish to be at full strength while escorting your men tomorrow. If you'll pardon me..." he ended, nodding to the men and leaving for the guest room.
After an hour or so's work, he was in bed, awaiting the new day. In one of his belt pouches, there lay a vial of strength-tuned mutagen, though he drifted off to sleep hoping he wouldn't need to use it. It tended to make him...a little wild. He also wished to keep his trump card hidden from prying eyes for now.

Sigurd moves parallel with the log and fires at the axe wielding woman when a opening presents itself but the numbness in his hand makes all the difference and his shot misses but only by a single hands length.
Pavel pushes through the logs and light scrub until he has a clear path between him and the mouthy bandit his challenging tone seems to anger her. Jonas’s takes advantage of her distraction and his sword manages a glancing blow to the bandits shoulder as it slips past her defenses but she moves quickly to mitigates most of the damage by stepping away from the magically guided swing, only allowing the tip of the blade to nick flesh through armor. She screams Someone take that magic user down! I have my dance partner picked out already.
With Sigurd focused on the axe wielding bandit one of the other bandit takes advantage of the opening and charges at the Holy Hunter confident in their advantage. In front of Simon are two of the remaining bandits. one of them hearing their leaders orders pushes through the brush under the tree stand and sights Jonas making a beeline for him while the last bandit gets over his initial surprise and swiftly moves to take Simon on.
The bandit attempting to attack Sigurd finds he is not as unaware as he initially appeared as Simon side steps the swing leveled at him. The blade coming so close to hitting that it slices into his cloak in its passing. Jonas's Opponent fights his way through the brush and finds himself falling forward having to run to catch his balance he catches himself just before running into Jonas's blade but his flow of movement is ruined forcing him to make only a half hearted swipe more to keep Jonas at bay then a real attempt at a attack.
Simon's enemy comes at him warily they test each other with tentative swings of there swords when the bandit makes a desperate gamble and attempts to move past Simon's blade where the bandits short sword will have a advantage. the move catches Simon off guard and the two men are left to grapple for a moment. Simon is successful in preventing the bandit from striking him with the short sword but looses his own in the fight before using his shield to force the bandit back leaving him with shield in hand and the sword at his feet.
The bandit leader finally picks her time to strike and makes what appears to be a rush at Pavel. He takes a mighty swing at the woman but at the last minute she stops leaving Pavel open as his sword misses her by no more then an inch. The bandit leader takes advantage of the opening and embeds a dagger that seems to appear from no where deep into Pavel's chest leaving the weapon embedded as she leaps back her axe held to ward against a back swing from the heavy sword. She seems to relish the pain that comes across Pavels face. Hard to breath with a blade in your lung huh! You take 7 damage Pavel

Sigurd knowing that his bow is not the best weapon for the fight tosses it aside drawing his spears in a swinging motion he strikes the bandit in the ribs causing him to wince from the blow before drawing the shaft back and stabbing deep in the stomach punching a sizable hole in bandits leather armor. When the bandit attempts to counter attack Sigurd uses his spear to deflect the weak swing.
Jonas try's to take advantage of the bandits initial bumbling attack and disarm him however when he makes his downward strike the bandit manages to nick Jonas in the ribs with his blade Jonas takes 4 damagebefore a loud clattering of steel announces the end of the exchange as the bandits weapon lands at his feet. Jonas presses his advantage and threatens the bandit with his sword Surrender or be run through.
Pavel reverses his swing despite the pain it causes in his chest. When the female bandit try's to step back from the oncoming blow Pavel halts the swing grasping the swords blade and thrusts forward with his full weight. The change in motion leaves her unable to react as the blade embeds itself deep into her chest. She coughs up blood as she speaks How about a kiss love. Grasping Pavel by the shoulder she strikes Pavel a harsh blow to the head before losing consciousness. Pavel takes 9 damage Though Pavel has enough presence of mind to direct his fall to the side that doesn't have a dagger stuck in blackness still claims him as his head hits the dirt.
The bandit Simon faces strikes at him with his short sword but finds his blows deflected by Simon's shield. Simon presses forward with the mobile wall of steel shoving the bandit back before quickly kneeling and grabbing his sword not bothering to even regain his feet before striking out with the blade. The deadly strike slashes the bandits groin creating a fatal wound. Any fight the bandit had quickly leaves him as he desperately try's to keep his life's blood from completely spilling to the ground.
The bandit now caught unarmed by Jonas begins to bring his hands up as if to surrender but grasps his bow instead and takes a wild swing with the improvised close quarters weapon. It will be a cold day in the abyss before I stretch my neck in a noose.
