Minis or Paper Minis - What do you use?

Carrion Crown

Hello everyone,

I am planning to run the Carrion Crown Path. As I am fairly new to the Game, and it will be
my first major GM campaign, I was wondering what kind of minis you guys are using?

Are you making paper Minis out of the PDFs on your own?

I wish Paizo would release a complete metal- or paper Mini set for this (and mabye other) Adventure Paths!

thanks for your help
Markus

WotC minis, always.

WotC minis for the standard fare mobs. PF/Reaper for the iconics and BBEG's and paper counter stands from Litko Aero for minis I dint have or don't exist.

Seriously though if you don't have a lot of minis, this stands are a life saver. Video on it:

I use WoTC minis for the most part. However I'm starting to paint up a bunch of metal minis for use but that is time-consuming. I'm not averse to using the PDF paper minis but I have too many others already.

If you're in the position where it would be a real chore to find the plastic minis in bulk then the paper minis are a fine alternative. Most of us have the advantage of using this stuff for at least 10 years now and have built up a collection. Most new GMs don't have that luxury.

G'day, our group's been running a few months and we've tried the paper version but it was summer here and fans etc made the whole thing a complete hassle (some nights we ended up substituting Bluetack and colouring them with a texta). I recently purchased some miniatures which should make it a lot easier. After our experience I'd say "Real miniatures every time."

The Exchange

My DM uses WotC minis. The players variously borrow from his collection and bring their own, metal, minis. Personally, I prefer to print tokens, and dispense with miniatures altogether.
