Ah! Makes sense now. I sorta moved from Marvel to Comico, Jademan, and other indies in the mid eighties. Well, except for my Savage Sword of Conan. Dang, I miss all those :(. Then after those, when I collected, it was mostly DC Vertigo lines. Kinda stopped all comics after turning thirty. Couldn't justify the prices.
Still borrow my buddy's Invincible's though. Love that romance between Invincible and Atom Eve.

Longshot wins due to his super luck. I remember reading his original mini-series. Yes, Booster Gold can fly, and I guess his power suit gives him magnetic powers (not sure) but somehow Longshot would find some improbable way to win to something very lucky happening for him. A better matchup would be Longshot v. The Black Cat.
Dude took down Mojo, then did the nasty with Dazzler. Not to mention that every chick falls for him! That Booster dude attacks him, he gets toasted by all them loving chickiedoos and Longshot's luck factor!
I will not take on Joss Whedon in single combat for similar reasons.

That would more than likely end up being a pairing rather than a match-up. Question is, since the Black Cat causes bad luck for her SO, would it cancel out with Longshot's luckiness, or would there be some interesting synergy?
I'd suspect the second.
As for the original match-up, given that Longshot's disad is having Mojo being voyeur on his life, it would end up with Mojo kidnapping Booster Gold and saying he was going to do an extradimensional reality television series about him. Of course Booster being Booster would be totally okay with that.
Looks like a win-win situation all round.
