Also, the follow-up storyline where a Red Sonja villain from the Hyborean Age turned up in modern times and transformed all of New York City, including the X-Men and Avengers, into Hyborean Era versions of themselves was one of the coolest story arcs ever. Sorcerer in question had Spider-Man crucified over his throne.
Well it wouldn't surprise me if Logan was descended from one particular Cimmerian..but it's still silly.
