I would like to start an idea for those of you willing to oblige with this sort of things.
I would like for those of you playing a half-Orc on your game sections to give the characters last name Doon thus belonging to the clan.
The Clan has a Cry of Pride. It is made when one of the member is asked his name, When done so they the member Raises his fist when saying “DOON” if there are other members of the Clan it replies with a Raised fist and cries out “DOOM”. Usually, just done once, for the character and member of the clan that gave his name first, all other give their first name.
Many (though not all) half orc that enters has a "confidant" usually a bard preferred to be a gnome for their joyfulness and wisdom. This Confidant Usually “helps” the diplomatic procedures of the clan members for their lack of subtlety and to ease there temper with humor.
The clan is recently new and just for kicks and giggles i would like to see; what are the stories that would develop among your players if applied this in your adventures.
A little History...
The clan started in the narlmalches on the river kingdoms, by a half drunk priest of calden cailean with the Doon brothers, as a bet. Though they were more eager to "brawl" and "bite" with some luck they instead started a guild/clan of half orc in the city. As it was very close to fey territory it was simpathic for these creatures.
Though the city/village name is "Feriaxe" is more of a mockery to Pitax as many bandits have run from there to establish some sort of conclave with the fey in these parts.
The Three Doon brothers though similar in appearance not so much in ideas or class have but one thing in common Pride. With it comes a calling for those that join the clan to respect. Every time one of the brother’s names is called and for this every clan member has come to respect it. Though it is uncertain the meaning if it’s “DOOM” Cry for the clan or the enemy or just wishful thinking, they usually just take it as a sign for triumph of death. A little encouragement out of Fear and, a little respect out of Strength.
