I am really looking forward to picking up our game again after things settle down with Lebreton's new baby. So, I may have a new Friday game. Set in Ustalav, 25 pt buy. Playing around, I made a Varisian Rogue, totally gypsy flavored. I have a fiddle, I have a harrow deck and Profession: Fortune Teller. I also have mad Bluff skills and Slight of Hand.
Yeah, this dude could be a lot of fun.
Now I need a name.
(Of course, I haven't ruled out the possibility of some type of Cleric instead... but I REALLY like this Rogue.)
I know! This game will take the place of the 4e game I no longer play in but not to worr, RotR will take precedence when needed. No change there.

Bought some of that gelli baff stuff for the kidlet as a stocking stuffer....not so much on the goo part. Might have had too much water. But can't be certain as they give the instructions in liters. Just because I can make conversions between gallons and liters doesn't mean I'm going to for a bath product.

Day off, without pay. Work in a union area but without being union there's really no point in being open because all your customers have a paid day off
Got some cool stuff: Kolchak the Nightstalker on DVD, some Nookie, two goblin dice bags, some neat plastic dragon figures, books (bien sur), including the first three horatio Hornblower books.
Way to go, Monkey Man!

The problem isn't so much the math. The problem is not having containers for those measurements. The biggest metric measuring cup I have is 500 mL. There is no way I was measureing out 20 L by the 500 mL. Heck, there was no way I was figuring out how many L were in five gallons so I could measure out the bath by the bucketful. Just too much work for a bath. :)

I got two t-shirts, a box of beers of the world, a bacon calendar, my aforementioned Superfly Sock Monkey, a Christmas ornament (which will go in a box in the basement with all the other ornaments my in-laws get me), a coaster with my old high school logo, and the Mythic Monsters Revisited (which I gave myself).
Also, before we came down, Charlie got me a flannel shirt, some flannel lined jeans, some socks, and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer on bluray.

Also, doing more research into dyscalculia. If there are any online tests or anything out there that might help me figure out if I do have a problem, I would greatly appreciate it.
You may have found this already but just in case in may be a good place to start. dyscalculia.org
Edit: Also, this website has some coping skills: another Dyscalculia website

do you use the phrase "between the years" for the time between christmas and new years day?
Not that I have ever heard, no. What is it auf Deutsch?
it's the week between christmas and new year, "between the years" when you take off from work and mostly do nothing but chill and plan your Silvester-party,
in older times it was the only time of the year servants and farmhands did not need to work

Never heard of the term before.
Silvester-party?

Looked it up.... New Years eve. Feat of Pope St. Silvester. Also never heard of it called that before.
it is in fact the only name we have for it, new years eve is not used.
the week "between the years" by the way is the only time in the year that fireworks can be legaly bought and sold in Germany

It was very good! I'm sorry I didn't have more, but I'm not very good about ham, and that was my first time having it cut off like that. The Mac and cheese was awesome too. It worked out for the wife and her mother as well, finding everything they needed.

heavy storm with widespread power blackouts in scandinavia last night, I hope Kajehase was/is save
Kajehase lives within a 30-minute walk from two hydro-plants - in other words, the only time I've been affected by a blackout was when the landlord decided to put in some new fences, and stuck one of the fence-poles straight through a main power-line right outside my door (robbing 10% of the town's population of electricity for 4 hours). :D
