It was a fun first day back, no rust whatsoever.
I got to:
* Organize our trailer
* Move the trailer three times, involving lots of backing up (I can even parallel park a truck with trailer)
* Dig not one, but two post holes three feet deep
* Install a a cattle gate
* Start a bonfire
* Pick out and load fifteen boulders for another crew
* Unload a delivery because the delivery driver couldn't do it (I also didn't give him shit about it, we're all newbs once)
* Fixed a end gate of our truck.
Also, I got a raise, like two weeks ago.

That's a long time to have a raise. You should go to the doctor.

I might have gotten another raise today, it is a new pay period.
Edit: Ah, I get it now, except where Mort comes in, but yes, two weeks is an awfully long time.

Anyway on the collective - anyone climbed Mt Fuji here? I'm planning a trip...of course my first instinct is to leeroy Jenkins it =P
Altitude acclimatization I don't think I'm going to be able to make trips to high up places to get accustomed to it, though if it requires me to train climbing more stairs while carrying a 15 kg backpack that can be arranged...

At least the insvitables will tell you crimes-apparent you committed.
(There are also other creatures that live in the demiplane of time - the ivrii, or something? The Hounds are less "policing" time and more that they live in a state of being that allows them to time-travel easily and the scent of time-travelers spurs them to hunt like sharks smelling blood in the water.
They're not monitoring or managing the flow of the timestream, they just live there and like the taste of time-travelers.
The aeons and inevitables are the ones actively trying to manage the timestream, in their own varying ways.

Aiymi and I went to Hellboy tonight. It's by no means the worst thing I've ever seen, but it's not good. It's not like the original Del Toro and Perlman movies were fantastic, but they were entertaining and Perlman brought a charisma and voice to the role. Harbour felt a bit like he was trying to not mimic it while doing so.

Well I liked the movie nonetheless but I have no expectations since I didn't read no comics before.
I liked that piggie and his motive for wanting revenge. I mean he got cheated at a chance of being able to grow up in a loving human family. Is that too much to ask? Though it is unfair to the family that got their baby taken in question.
And I love the part where the guy transformed and then Alice called him out, "Now I know why you're so mean!"
And his confession at the end, "Actually I'm more of a dog person"

Well My last interview did not go well it was in the mid day and I was to drowsy for it. I haven't put any new applications in yet because I've been very busy with family and doctor stuff.
As far as what went wrong. Well aside from a lot of minor things 2nd shift was suppose to do that was not done. I had put in some of my PTO for next week so I could use it before I lose it. It was approved and yet I'm still on the schedule for next week. working the exact days I took time off for. I've already msged my manager and her response will decide whether I walk out and find the next job I get my hands on regardless of what it is.

Oh yeah, I know the annoyances of having to do things that 2nd shift (or even 1st) didn't bother to do. As well as the pain of having vacation time messed with. I put in 6 weeks ago for a couple of days off the first weekend of May, and still haven't been told whether or not I'll get them off. And yesterday I saw a note from the newest desk clerk saying she needed those same days off. If she gets those days and I don't, I'm gonna be pissed. Especially since, and my manager knows this, I need the time off to go on my annual birthday trip with my dad. So if I don't get the time off, it's going to mess with my parents' plans as well as mine.

I saw a new doc and got some blood work done since I got my new health insurance. He says he thinks my sugar is a bit to high. I am going to make an appointment next week to see him again and go over it.

No, just 5 of them. There is one leg that never breaks contact with the ground. It just kind of drags along.

Oh yeah I do. Not my dad but his brothers and sister have diabetes here and there.
Cutting out all sugar is virtually impossible in the south but I have already cut back quite a bit.
I think it may be possible if you cook every meal. Stay away from sauces that involve excessive sugar and all that, and no coke!
I mean, hey, look at this for a sample menu:
Breakfast:
Chopped Spinach fried with egg (light soya sauce and pepper added)
Glass of fresh milk
2 tangerines, 16 grapes and about 100 g of jackfruit.
(Well except for me putting a slice of lemon cake that my aunt told me to finish, that was pretty much my breakfast).
Lunch:
Black pepper baked chicken thigh and blanched brocoli, cauliflower and carrots
And a glass of soya milk
Dinner:
Grilled catfish with a side of fried green pepper and garlic.
End of day. Lol.
If you need to add in carbs, do sweet potato, or just boiled potatoes.

What I did one day(yes, it really happened)…a log:
Breakfast:
12 grapes
Chopped spinach fried with 2 eggs
A bun with a piece of sweet potato in it
One glass of milk
Lunch:
Tau Kwa with thai chilli sauce. Like 2 servings worth
And a Kiwi.
For a snack I had 2 figs.
Dinner:
Tau Kwa with thai chilli sauce. Like 2 servings worth
A Kiwi
And a grilled chicken salad (from Mc Donalds) – I took no dressing. Don’t even like dressing.
