Ugh. Had to cancel gaming last night due to coming down with a nasty stomach bug. What time I didn't spend in the bathroom I spent totally passed out. I actually went to bed at 7:30 pm which is really not at all like me. And still don't feel quite up to snuff today. Fever, nausea, etc. Not taking my math test today, that's for sure. :(
Were you hanging out with my wife? She has the same thing. She's feeling a bit better today. Hope you both recover soon.

Thanks. It's been going around lately. It seems like every other person I talk to at school either has it or is just getting over it. I hope your wife is feeling better soon. Me too. :)

At least I have today off of class so I can lay in bed and watch tv. Hopefully sometime soon the room will stop feeling like it's spinning.

He's growing like a weed. She's not bats**t completely crazier yet.

Edit: And what do you mean "Good" morning? Is there such a thing anymore?

I corrected it on account that women are all crazy to one extent or another. ;)

Added to it. ;)

Good luck, CH!

I recommend Valium or a cartoon rubber mallet for your partner. But I'm not a doctor...

Is this why CH was talking about needing "more support"? If so, don't use the mallet, CH, dear God, don't do IT!

is there anything we can do to help?

Spoiler:
The fact is, I'm down to the wire. And as my partner put it, I have to decide what will be best for me. Only I've never been any good at honest introspection.

The fact is, I've been talking about going back to school for a long time. I don't think it's the only thing for me, but somewhere along the line I latched onto it.

When I think of the times I've been happiest, it's been on nice days, where I have free time and my partner and I can do nothing important - take a walk, go out to eat, visit friends. I want to be someplace where we can just have fun and live our daily lives.

All of that stuff would be more difficult, I think, if I took this particular grad school offer. The academics would be interesting, but I don't know that I would actually be better off. It feels like I would be setting everything else I want out of life on a back burner.

Why, then, is this so distressing? It seems like it should be easy. First, it's hard to work hard for something and then walk away from it. Granted, I had never been to this school before I applied, so it's not as bizarre as it sounds. Second, there's that whole lack of introspection bit. Even when I'm pretty sure about what I want, I have no confidence in my decision-making.

Anyway, hopefully the day is coming soon when I can stop my Hamlet-esque whining and vascillating on this thread...
